He's the best OL prospect in Southern Idaho. Looks like USU. Tremendous kid. Great work ethic. A steal IF the Griz end up with him.

Nike, the Cats have a lot more schollies to give than the Griz do and it's gonna be that way for a while. YOU might wanna get used to it.
okay but we still have 5 or 6 to fill in about 3 weeks......
The Griz don't have many scholarships to give but they may have more commits than you have heard about on egriz.

Many of our best recruits come the last couple days when they are abandoned by the FCS schools. I don't think it is wise to burn all schollies too early in the process.

On my drive in to work this morning they played Bill Schwanke's local sports update. I couldn't make out the whole discussion, but Delaney was interviewed on last Saturday's Local Sports Roundup show and he commented that recruiting was about wrapped up. I think he said they covered UM's needs with 3 OL and 1 S and the rest was just gravy. Did anybody else hear this quick blurb this morning to confirm?

What about Gunar Amos (QB) of Coueur d' Alene? I know a frined of the families in our church said he was pretty interested in Montana but was dissapointed they have never offered?

He hurt his ankle pretty bad at end of season but it is supposed to be healing really nicely.

Its rare a fcs school will recruit more than one QB/year and UM has Bozeman's Weyer on the books for 2014

I thought he was going to Idaho. A couple of his teammates from years past are down there. He would be a good get for S or CB.

Looking back last year about this time, we had 12 verbals already. I know it's pathetic, but I hate seeing the Cats signing guys and we have yet to hear about any of ours. I'm really hoping David Reese keeps his commitment.

They have more scholarships available than we do.

We just need to hope that we fill our scholarships with quality players.

Payton does an AWESOME job keeping tabs on Grizzly recruiting. Others do as well. But not everything going on in recruiting makes it's way on to Egriz, or Scout or Rivals for that matter. According to the Grizzly coaching staff, Montana presently has 3 OL committs, while only one of them is on Egriz. I believe the reason why is the other two are FBS transfers.

Recruits that are abandoned by FCS schools do not inspire me.

Never hard committed to them. think it was the only offer that he recieved though that he liked. Was told he never wanted the army offer and was hoping for either WSU or MT but since he had friends at Idaho was leaning toward taking thier offer since he didn't get offers from either of those.

Let's hope you are correct about the OL FBS transfers.

Lets hope so. But you would think if they were transfers that were committed to coming here they would be announced already.

I don't know when classes start, but FBS transfers cannot be commented on by coaches until they are enrolled in school.
