Glad someone clarified that. I thought what was meant by DT was Defensive Tackle.

MaxPreps has listed Butte QB Dallas Cook as a finalist for National Player of the Year honors. MaxPreps nominated 8 players from around the country.
Here's a quick video:

what I was thinking,,,we need d/b's,,,he is real big for a corner,,i wonder if he has the agility and speed required for corner at this level? would be nice if that is the case...welcome to the griz family...
Maybe he will be the next Tru. Tall, played QB in high school. I like.

I personally think the writeup isn't so hot. Talking about the kid is great but it makes it sound like Montana is just a temporary commitment until something better comes along. Talking about Division III what is that about? "Something is going to pop"? It seems to me it has and Montana is a good place to be. I hope he sticks with his commitment. I like his attitude.
Clackamas senior running back Dan Sherrell (5-9, 170), who has rushed for 1,803 yards and 27 touchdowns, also is looking for a place to play in college.
“I think he’s got a shot to be a scholarship guy at some level, but if not, he’s going to be a good Division III player,” Bushman said.

The Division III comment was in reference to their running back:

I went to Maxpreps.com and Cook is listed as 3rd in passing statistics. Any players statistics are submitted to Max preps by the player or their coaching staff if they want to be listed. It listed the top 10 players and Cook was not listed among them as a National Player of the Year Finalist as of today. There are some great players out there that are not listed in their respective positions because they have not submitted their stats.
I heard that he liked UM better then MSU so hopefully we get this kid.grizfnz said:Brock Landers said:After watching Sentinel-Bozeman (again), I'm really hoping we extend an offer to Grant Collins. That dude is a stud, and is fast as hell
Looks like he has a ton of upside and could grow more. His dad was a monster at Bozeman High in football, basketball and track before playing at ASU and a bit in the NFL.
