2014 Griz Football Recruiting (10 Signed /15 Formal admission)

Griz offeree Keenan Curran (Federal Way, WA) got his first start at QB and rushed for 271 yards in a 62 - 42 win. I didn't see his passing stats; maybe he didn't have to throw it at all.

Ok I guess Connor Lebsock has commited to the griz. Unless I missed something.
Proof (but im not sure if its realiable) http://www.kulr8.com/story/23186266/5th-lebsock-commits-to-griz-football" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Connor Lebsock is already on the roster... A redshirt sophomore http://www.gogriz.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/connor_lebsock_769106.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I saw on FB we are recruiting Matthew Palmer. He has a page dedicated to his recruitment. He's a DB/WR from Menifee, CA. Good size. Looks like he also has interest from Arizona and Eastern Washington. Not sure if this has been mentioned before.

I heard that alex was going to play O-line today because some of them go hurt. Wonder how that's going to play out. :|

Ouch. Nice to see a team player like that. CMR lost the nucleus of a great O-line to graduation. Lost a stunner to Sentinel last week after being up 21-0. Play a tough glacier team today that will probably throw it all over the field on CMR. CMR's Achilles heel the past few years has been the secondary(sound familiar?). Their quarterback (McLean) is talented, but tends to force things and ends up with a few WTF interceptions a game. Gonna be a long year for CMR I am afraid.
As a GFH fan that's good news but as a football fan it stinks I feel for them hopefully they win tonight, but as you said it's going to be a long season for cmr.

After a THREE HOUR Lightning and rain delay, a game that ended at 1:15 this morning, Glacier beat CMR 20-14.

Thats three straight times Glacier has beaten CMR in Great Falls... has any other team EVER done that?

Butte and CMR had another epic battle Fri night, this time in GF, with Butte coming out on top 38-35. The Bulldogs have won the last 3 battles between the two schools.

CMR had 21-7 halftime lead, but Butte scored twice very quickly in the 3rd qtr. Speedy Butte High Blue-Chip WR Dalton Daum (class of 2015) tied the game at 21-21 on an 82 yard touchdown reception.

Butte QB Dallas Cook exploded for an 81-yard touchdown run with 1:26 left in the third quarter and the Bulldogs would lead 31-21 heading into the final 12 minutes.

CMR took a 35-31 lead.

The Bulldogs responded with a rallying drive and Cook and Daum would connect once again at a most opportune time. Cook would hit Daum on a catch-and-run play of 41 yards and Butte would go back up top 38-35 with 2:08 remaining.

CMR missed a makeable/potential game tieing FG attempt with 5 seconds remaining.

Butte moves to 2-1, CMR moves to 0-3.

Any other news on recruiting?
Pretty quiet right now but should pick up soon. More offers should be coming soon because of the season starting, also more verbals as recruits get bigger offers

Keyon Dilosa - 6'3" WR, Round Rock TX - http://rivals.yahoo.com/footballrecruiting/football/recruiting/player-Keyon-Dilosa-124750" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I wish. :coffee:

Not sure if anyone is on the extreme east side of the the state but their are a couple of guys over here that are impressive. Shane Cochran from Culbertson/Bainville RB and LB as well as Rhett Harmon from Culbertson/Bainville. Culbertson/Bainville plays Wibaux on the 28th of this month and that should be a a good one. I have talked to both boys parents and UM has talked to them but no offers yet as I know. Both are impressive athletes.

Everyone talks about seniors QB Will Weyer (Griz verbal) and TE/DE Will Dissley, and LB Grant Collins from Bozeman. All 3 are atleast FCS caliber. But I'd be pretty dang suprised if their is a better RB in the state than Bozeman's Hunter Gapmeyer. He is 5'9", 200 lbs and runs very strong, fast. He is Bozeman's All-Time Rusher. Bozeman finished the 2012 season #2 as state runners-up, and are currently ranked #1 in 2013. Hunter is a major reason why...in fact, last week he rushed for 210 yards and 5 touchdowns! He is good catching the ball as well. Don't be suprised to see him playing post high school.

Yep. I agree. He is quicker than I thought he was. Very strong runner. He would look good in Griz colors.

QB- Dallas Cook 6'4" 210 (Butte HS) Butte, MT (UM & msu)

but his head is in the clouds, looking for FBS

(1st team All-Stater and State Offensive MVP) Dallas Cook threw an 80 yard touchdown bomb on the very first play of this years Bulldog intra-squad scrimmage. It was over 50 yards in the air up the sideline, and hit the WR (2nd team All-Stater, Junior Dalton Daum) in perfect stride.

On the TV news, Ted Dawson, the Bozeman KBZK sports director said, "Cook shows why he is on every school in the countries radar with this 80 yard touchdown." :clap:

Cook is much heavier than 210. He looks like a Griz DE. :lol:

Cook 6'4" 234, passed the 5000 yard mark vs billings west last week. He will blow those numbers away by the end of the season,getting 300-400 yards per game. Only four Montana high school QBs have passed 5000 yards, one of them being Super Dave. IMO Cook would shine in the BSC and could be part of a great, winning program at UM with his chance to be seen by scouts if he is productive enough. Or, he could go to...Idaho. Or Wyoming. Or Utah State. Or Washington State. And maybe be The Man or maybe not. And wallow in mediocrity. Come on Man! Go Griz.

He had over 400 passing and 100 rushing vs CMR. My expectation is he will be up to the 300 mark after a couple more games.
