Awesome. That's still not the issue. I know you didn't bring him up, but you were the first person to put him down.
You were the first person to imply that he doesn't have what it takes to be a "big-time playmaker" and posted his freshman season stats, while comparing him to some of our very best receivers, none of whom looked particularly
"playmaker-ish" during their freshman seasons at UM.
That's all I thought was harsh and kind of jumping the gun. If JJ can't make him effective in our offense, and he completely bombs this year, then go ahead and
say he'll never be a playmaker, but again, he's the WR with the most potential on this team, and I think we should reserve judgement until he has ample opportunity to prove himself with
a competent QB with some experience under his belt.
