Until you guys get a QB I don't think too many BSC teams are shaking in their cleats. A huge weakness was exposed in 2012....all us Cat fans hope (please, please Mr. Delaney) Smithwickjingleheimerhan gets the starting job locked down in '13......and then Feet-of-Stone Gustafson can come in to save the day when production goes South...the Cat front seven will be licking their whiskers!!!!

Right  What a seriously ignorant post

Just read this on Facebook.

Finally can shout it from the roof tops....My nephew Noah Scarver has committed to the University of Montana in Missoula! Think I am going to learn to love college football. Congrats Noah! Go Grizzlies!

This is a Huge pickup way to go, GO GRIZ.

Matt Sommers and Kendrick Bourne tripped to Eastern last weekend...both hold offers.

For those of you raising an eyebrow about the amount of WR's in this class here is how I think it will REALLY shake out come spring ball. This leaves us with only 2 true WR commits. I would love to see us add one more in Kendrick Bourne. :thumb:

fifteen verbals and not one lineman on either side of the ball. is gragg gonna suit up? montana's dominance has been built on the quality of its linemen. i hate to see even one year go by that we don't sign two or three big bulls for the trenches.

other than that, i'm impressed with this class. to me, this staff gets low grades for its first big test, the personnel and coaching decisions made during the regular season. recruiting was the second big test, and i'm giving them passing grades. just get us some guys up front.

The Griz have a pair of OL coming in. Joel Kramer from Helllgate though I believe he's looking at playing defense, and Cody Walk (6-4, 250) from Billings Skyview. They also have interest in Buttrovich from Butte (6-5, 300), Sather from Bigfork (6-5, 270) and Colter Murphy of Big Sky (6-2, 285).

Since it keeps coming up, here are the returning O-Linemen. 6 Juniors and Seniors in 2013 and eight underclassmen. I am not sure on all the classes (taken from gogriz.com), but from the looks of it UM might not scholorship any OL, just look for some walk-ons and maybe one transfer in the spring.

Let's hope he's averse to ice fishing and Lutefisk.

Fargo in January. Friday's high? 22 (3 degrees w/wind chill). Saturday? Projected at 4 degrees (-19 wind chill). Sunday? -12 degrees (-20 wind chill). Yeah, THAT should close the deal.

On offense the high school need is obvious, as the Griz have no RS-FR going into the season at RB, H-Back, TE. And they only have 1 at WR.

On defense the high school need is clear as well, as the Griz have no RS-FR going into the season at Safety and LB. And they only have 1 at CB.

Last recruiting season the Griz were obviously heavy on lineman (both sides), so this recruiting season they need to focus on perimeter players to balance out the roster. Things are looking great.
