Whoever gets Brekke will be DAMN lucky to get him. Great kid, tireless worker and awesome teammate. End of story.

I had heard Riley King will be playing BB for the Saints.
Haha what a joke

Care to elaborate?
Around Missoula all I have heard for the last three years is how Reilly King will definately play Division 1 he just hasn't decided which sport yet. Argued with a guy at a Griz game trying to convince me he could play Basketball OR Football for the Griz and in reality he is going to be playing NAIA Basketball

I have nothing against the kid but people in Missoula hyped him up WAY too much. But that's not his fault. I also admit I have somewhat of a bad attitude and lack of respect when it comes to NAIA Athletics.

Wagriz,

where did you play your college football?

I would have to guess Texas or USC! You sure seem to know a lot about the college game   !

You're from Butte, for Christ's sake. i would think him getting a technical would be like a badge of honor for your ilk.

Being from Butte makes you part of lesser 'ilk'? Okay....
8-)

Why do you automatically assume their ilk is "lesser"?

Napoleon Complex. Also, it does

I just meant "scrappy".

Sheldon prep Connor Strahm has a UM offer: from NW preps

His mail box is filling up. Right now he is being pursued the hardest by Montana, Portland State, Boise State, Oregon State, Princeton, Utah, and San Diego.

Portland State and Montana have offered Strahm so far. Both Big Sky schools which would be a great fit for him. He may be destined for the Pac 12 but only time will tell.

6'1" 210 Wide Receiver. Thats a real good sized receiver

Thanks for the update. I love how were going after the best Sheldon player every year.

Spoke with Manhatten's Quinn McQueary this weekend in Havre. If you're not familiar with im, he's an absolute physical specimen. In the HIT slam dunk contest he was throwing down crazy dunks. All Frontier coaches were drooling but he is dead set on playing college football. He said he wants to be a Griz BADLY, but so far hasn't see any interest. He said he has interest from the Cats, and said though Montana is his dream, he said he would take an offer from MSU over no offer from the Griz. I haven't seen him play football but wow is he athletic.

Think Shann Shillinger. He is that type of player. He is a great athlete and if you can get him to walk on great, I would think he is worth a partial if you have money available.

We don't want him. He's a drop down so obviously he's a thug. And if he can't start at Oregon what makes you think he can start here

With a name like "Carson" I assumed he was an honest, decent Montana boy who helps little old ladies cross the street and is never late for Sunday school.

Given the current press I'd pass.

Hello to all, this weekend my son and I attended the spring game. It was our first time visiting the state of Montana. Being born and raised in California we really had no idea of what to expect...we were very pleasantly surprised. Your state is beautiful and your people are some of the friendliest Ive ever met. We were up there to visit the campus and meet with the coaches as my son will be a walk-on this fall. Originally recruited by San Diego State, NAU, MSU he had a tough break his senior season and injured his ankle in the second game of the season. After trying to come back too soon, he re injured it which put him out for the remainder of the season. Nothing up to this time has been posted about him walking on this fall since he had not fully made up his mind on where he was going to go, but after his visit he is 100% committed to being a Griz. His name is Mike Stallone, he played both ways as a 3yr starter at Redlands High School in Redlands California. Ive posted a link to a few highlights from his junior season...
it was great meeting all of you this weekend, hope to see you at the season opener!

*****I WOULD SUGGEST WATCHING WITH MUTE ON!!!***** His "music" sucks!

Welcome to GRIZNATION to the Stallone's. I wish him the best as a GRIZ. Take of some what your family reads here, with a grain of salt. You will read a little of everything about everyone here. We always welcome any information on recruits in CA.

I just watched the video. He is fun to watch. Does he return kicks/punts, at all ? I see him as a very slot/HB combo. Reminds me of Nguyen a lot. :thumb:
