Would could assume they have more. That tweet was just prior to the posting of the list of players.

WR- Eliot Faerber 6'5", 208 lb 3 star WR out of Shawnee Mission, KS (Illinois Verbal)

FYI, He is not listed on the Illinois Signee List
 
Anyone else have information on why Hayden Craig is listed as OT? I thought he was a big, athletic kid who had offers to play DE at FBS schools but was coming to Montana because the Griz were going to let him play TE. Do I have that all wrong?

I see TE/DE.
 
I'm basing it off the official recruit list from GoGriz:

But then when I watch his video it lists him as a TE. Oh well, I am going to assume OT was some sort of misprint because after watching his video it looks to be a huge waste of athletic talent to put him on the line.

Gotta be a misprint, since all of the discussion was between TE and DE...never was OL in the discussion with any of the schools interested in him.

The official list handed out at last night's recruiting function lists Craig as a TE. Interesting note, Pflu mentioned that he expects to use Craig all over the place on offense similar to New England Patriot TE Hernandez. Yes, that means he may take a few handoffs. Craig is a great athlete.
 
OK all you scouting gurus, what became of the 6' 5" Wide Receiver Faerber who verballed to IL, then changed his mind?

Does anyone know if he made a commitment somewhere? :ugeek:
 
UCA BEAR FAN HERE...just wondering how your recruiting class looks to you guys?
I think the Bears filled some vacant spots with some quality transfers and some nice
high school kids. The coaches are very well pleased as are most of the fans I talked with
yesterday after the press conference.
 
I just looked at your list of commits. While I certainly don't know squat about any of these kids,
their size and length looks very good. Keeping up the tradition of huge O-Lineman I see.

QB- Brady Gustafson 6'7" 225 Billings, MT (Billings West HS) (2012)

How does that fit into our offense?

Just wondering. Or will he be a WR?

I was wondering the same thing, and what coach is saying is that the spread offense is versatile enough so that it can be tweaked to fit about any stile of QB.
Oh! By the way. They think Brady is a great talent.

Because a good recruiter goes after the best athletes and a good coach tailors the system to the players. With his phenomenal size, athleticism, and qb talent he might give the team their best chance to win. Billings west has had a lot of great qbs and he broke tons of their records

Because Gustafson is a complete stud. The offense can take the zone read elements out and become a more wide open passing offense with designed shotgun runs to RB's. If Gustafson is the best QB after JJ the offense can fit around him and we would be fine

Just spent two days with the father of a kid you signed, Tyler Wilemon. Great get. He turned down offers from ISU, Sac. State, and Weber to play for the Bears. This is the kid that our illustrious mods banned me from the board for a week for "possible NCAA violations". What a joke.
 
YO GROWLER, we did not want/get Wilemon. Sounds like everyone is happy! Bears need more help. Good luck to them and Wilemon.

Banned for a week? Was a fine involved?
