2010 nfl draft, your thoughts

I will start with a few short thoughts.

I am pissed the Eagles traded up for a small DE or tween LB. They could have done just as much or better keeping the later pick.

Even more frustrated the Redskins, Cowboys, and Giants all made better more obvious improvements.

Finally, I am stoked the Broncos got Tim Tebow. Football fans, analyst, and front office personnel are all split on Tebow. Despite hating Florida football, this kid is the biggest winner and best leader in the draft. His attitude and leadership will make him a successful NLF QB back in 2 years, maybe sooner with his work ethic. Tebow, will be the man to lead Denver back to being an elite franchise again. Congrats Bronco's.

That is it for me now. I will look forward to reading what others think, and get prepared a "Tebow War" to take place on this thread.

I like the Tebow pick. The guy has been a success and is a flat out leader. I've been a Bronco fan for way too long and still remember walking up on game day and buying tickets to watch Frank Tripucka, Gene Mingo, Lionel Taylor, Goose Gonsoulin and Wahoo McDaniel, etc. generally get whomped by the Titans, Oilers, etc.

I am pleased with the Packers' first pick. They got exactly what they needed. I hope they take a decent corner, too.

Tebow is a gamble. If he implodes on any team, it couldn't happen to a better one.

Tim Tebow is a disgrace to college football, the state of Florida, and all things decent. The way he walks around forcing his religion on everyone makes me sick. I remember seeing that SuberBowl ad with his mom and thinking that the world be a lot better if only she would have the correct choice. Damn it.

Tim Tebow once put a Glock 40 to my head and made me go to Haiti with him to feed orphans and go to church with him, and made me read a Bible verse. (yes, that one pasted on his face!)

I swear it's true.

that sick bastard

on the other hand, ALL HAIL KING SUH
If that freak has a religion, he's gonna be forcing it on every OL, QB, and RB in the NFL!

Who's this year's Marques Colston?
Terrel Hudgins, Andre Roberts, or MM ......... you never know (MM = Welker in my mind)

I'm sooo excited I thought the Raiders would take Tebow with the 8th pick. Instead they chose not to waste it and I get to see my team cold cock Tebow for years to come. What a great gift. Is he a good person? Yes Is he a good leader? Yes Is he a football player I wanted on my team? HELL NO

Also a Broncos fan. Finding a good QB has always been a struggle for us since Elway retired. I was never a big Cutler fan. He was talented, but he had a poor whiney attitude. I like Tebow's toughness and I think his mechanics and passing will improve after some NFL coaching. People forget that he was a very efficient passer in college. Taking QBs are always a gamble. There are probably more 1st round busts than there are 1st rounders who become the franchise player they are picked to become. Bottom line is that he is a winner, a great leader, and more importantly has the work ethic to improve.
