So...if egriz had been around in 1995, how many posters on here would have been ripping the coaches to shreds for throwing the ball with 44 seconds left on 3rd down when Marshall had no time outs? I would venture to guess that part of the game thread would've been quite an interesting read... :shock:

Well what about the 11 sacks we gave up in that game? Our offensive line must have stunk!!

I do think we were National Champions in spite of the poor line play, missed tackles, etc., etc, etc. :clap:

Marshall's defensive line was an awesome beast.
In particular Lyons... and another guy whose name eludes me were holy terrors. :ugeek:
