16 Days... Best bar to watch the Griz

Grand Stand in Billings. Hooligans is expensive and has better scenery but I'm an old tightass now.

My son lived in Billings for 3 yrs and always went to Fiddlers Green on Griz gameday. Griz friendly and a better pork chop sandwich than you can get in Butte.

Butte -

Metals Sports Bar & Grill - Great atmosphere (an old historic uptown bank) and food, lots of tv's.

Buffalo Wild Wings - Brand new, huge tv's, great wings.

Las Vegas -

Torrey Pines Pub - Owner plays WA-Griz game-day music and gets on the mic.

Screw Metals. Wont set foot in that place. Owners are HUGE Bobcat fans and supporters.

Lived in Helena my whole life (minus the 7 years for undergraduate and graduate work in Missoula) and never needed to watch a game at a bar. Helena's not very good for sports bars, but if I had to guess one that would be okay for a Griz game I'd say The Quarry downtown. Any other Helena people who care to throw in their two cents?

Cassidy's in Plentywood. Local Griz fans bring food for a potluck at halftime and it's only about an hour and forty south of my house. Only downside is most of the Border security guys are Cats fans.

Quarry is okay, but I prefer the new upstairs at Bert & Ernie's or the 702 Club. Overland would be great if the owners weren't cat people.

The new upstairs of Bert & Ernies is a little cramped if I remember correctly and I hadn't thought of the 702, good suggestion!

Dukes in Scottsdale. Owner is from Butte and used to own Village Inn Pizza in Billings. Great guy. Atmosphere has gotten worse in the last two years though. Need to check out RT O'Sullivans this year.

In Billings, I'm with whoever said The Grandstand. Love any place classy enough to have Keystone Light on tap.

I hear ya, Hammer. But since Ueland went to msu that is understandable.

I must say however, Ray U has treated me very well in my MONTANA gear every time I have ever been there. I try to sit at the Grizzly buddy bar table...lots of Griz fans there on gamedays when the Griz on are on the road in the playoffs, otherwise I am in the North Endzone.
