The first 1500 fans to the game on Sunday vs. WSU will receive free admission to sit in General Admission. No ticket needed! Come and get loud. If you have watched the last couple of games on altitude the fan attendance has been embarrassing for the Big Sky Conference. We need Griz Nation to show up in front of a national audience and show their support for the Griz. Come show your attitude on altitude!

Go Griz Beat Wildcats!

How else would they be able to get fans in the stands to watch an under-performing basketball team on a Sunday afternoon when the NFL conference championships are being televised? Who was the brilliant mind behind scheduling this game on championship Sunday??

I think it's the altitude thing, maybe... I know the packer game starts after, what time is the AFC game on?

AFC--11:00 am
NFC--4:30 pm (approx.)

Griz game --2:00
Seems like it slips in there. AFC game should be over (at least in terms of points) by the time the Griz game starts and there'll be a half hour or 45 minutes between hoops and NFC game. That will be a great day. I plan on walking over to the press box from the Griz game to watch the Packers advance.

Itwas a painful experience after driving in a snowstorm thursday to watch ISU beat the Griz . There is something mentally wrong with this team and the coach's post-game comments show he is in denial. -I now wouldn't be surprised if they don't win again.

Good thing of what is wrong is Taylor and McGillis give us better SG/SF players in 08/09. We are lacking there, their versatility will be huge next year. That will leave Staudacher manning his true position, SG.

As for this year, I think it would be best to go big more often, and to find the combination of players that will play hard for 40 minutes. That alone would be huge for this years GRIZ.

The crowd was still lousy. I don't think more than 1500-1800 people were there. The student sections were mostlly empty also. Sunday afternoon games= bad idea. I remember going to my first ever Griz basketball game on a weekend night in February or March of 1985. The place was sold out and rockin'. Pizza was delivered to Weber's coach (McCarthy) on the bench. He was not pleased. As I recall, the Griz won a tight and exciting game. Things have certainly changed. :crybaby:
