I am no fan of Marbury, but he may actually be doing something worthwhile here. I haven't seen shoes this cheap since the old Chuck Taylor days. Has anyone seen a pair?

Old news.

Maybe to you, kind of like steroids in fake wrestling was old news to everyone but you. I don't follow the NBA so wasn't aware of it. I am sure someone that actually knows something will answer the question though.

Speaking of shoes; I was trying to find a pair of Retro Air Jordans 3, and 5.

I stumbled across Instyleshoes.com, and saw a pair of Low Air Jordan I's, 1985...asking price: $9,000!

I do like the earlier AJ, and have had several pairs, but 9k seems a bit pricey.

Those thug kids robbing people and stealing their shoes don't seem so dumb now, do they?

It is a little bit of old news, but it was nice to hear again. On a day that Nike suspends the new Vick shoeline and a day or two after Durant signs a ridiculous show deal (is it really necessary to have a Kevin Durant shoe?), it is good to see that somebody is actually caring for the inner-city kids who are bugging their parents for those shoes that they normally can't afford.

I have yet to see a pair yet (I guess I have more important credit cards to pay off than a Foot Locker one too) but I've heard it's apparently a pretty decent shoe.

I've seen them. There's a Steve & Berry's here in Spokane. The shoes don't look bad at all. The store is awesome, nothing in it is over $14.99. It's kind of like an Old Navy.

Believe it or not, I saw them on Oprah last year.

Ya, I said it.

Not just shoes, SL. I STILL remember having my Cowboys Starter jacket stolen while I was in grade school. I'm STILL pi$$ed about it.

$110.00 for the top pair versus $14.95 for the bottom pair. Probably cost the same amount to make.....
