A few of my uneducated observations:
Bobby Moorehead: Very impressed, going to be a very good scorer. Think Mike Weisnar with more athleticism, better handle and much more fluid movement skills. Not really an above the rim athlete but is very good laterally also has solid speed for a 6' 7" kid . Can legitimately play the 2, handled the ball against the press, excellent shooter, and will have a solid dribble-drive game as he gets stronger.
Michael Oguine: Big time defensive potential. Great length, all arms and legs but stronger than i expected. Agressive on ball defender who moves his feet well and will get his hands on a lot of balls. Very agressive offensively as well which got him in trouble a few times over penetrating and turning it over. Got to the foul line frequently, found a couple wide open 3 point shooters for the assist off the dribble and hit a couple 3's. Going to be very good by the end of the year if not sooner. Took a hard fall right at the end came up limping, didn't return.
Jared Samuelson: Played quite a bit, had a couple nice finishes late in the scrimmage. Looked lost on a few occasions, but played hard all the time. I see him as more of a stretch 4 than a wing player and they seemed to play him in the post more than outside. I think he will be a solid big sky player down the road but i hope they redshirt to give him a year to develop physically.
Gavin DeJong: Great looking body, long strong arms, solid athleticism. Good defender, blocked a Breunig jumper, very active, good potential as a rebounder. Don't recall much offensively, hit a nice 15 footer on a kickout off penetration, and set nice solid screens.
Bryden Boehning: Big kid, looks to have turned some fat into muscle, more solid looking than last year. had a couple nice post moves but didn't always finish. Needs to be quicker and more decisive in the post, takes a long time before deciding to go. Had a nice face up 10 footer he shot right over the defender. Defensively he's big, thats his best attribute if he can work on getting in position a little earlier he can be very good.
Trevor Spoja: Needs strength, hit a 3 but was lost on offense more than once. Played very hard, and was upset with himself a couple times. A redshirt would be ideal
Zachary Camel: Played solid defense, didn't look to do anything offensively but did hit a 3 near the end of the scrimmage.
Fabijan Krslovic: Excellent defender all over the court, doesn't get a ton of rebounds but taps a lot of the ones he can't get out to guards. Very solid positional player always where he is supposed to be also knows where everyone else is supposed to be. Super smart and vocal, was screaming at Spoja on one offensive set telling him to run the baseline. May never have great stats but his effect on the team is very large.
Ahmaad Rorie: Wow we got a good one! I thought he was the best player on the floor. had two 4 point plays, a couple more 3's, some mid-range pull-ups. also ran the offense the smoothest i thought, vocal and got people in the right places. Quick, sturdy player allows him to stay in front of guys and not get bumped off. Just one scrimmage but i see a 1st team big sky player the second he gets on the court.
Walter Wright: Quick, fast kid. Had a nice reverse finish inside despite giving up so much size. Quite a few nice dishes off dribble drive though some were so good bigs couldn't coral them. Didn't look to score as much as i expected outside of a 5 point burst at the beginning of the 2nd half. Has the quicks to be a solid positional defender but might get taken into the post. Going to be a good player for us.
Brandon Gfeller: We know he is an elite shooter and he showed that again hitting at least four 3's in the 1st half. Still would like to see him drive it a bit more. Heady player, knows how to get open, always moving, catches it ready and understands he has the green light. Solid defender, looks a bit stronger knows where to be. Zero concern here, solid, solid player.
Riley Bradshaw: Played solid, doesn't force things, limited turnovers. Hit a couple tough shots late in the shot/game clock. Looked comfortable and understands his role and limitations. Trustworthy player, could start.
Aaron Misipeka-Ward: Strong kid, didn't notice any offense from him but really hustled on both ends, going after loose balls.
Martin Breunig: Had a real tough time finishing inside but no concerns. Going to have a real big year. Versatile scorer, excellent athlete. Gonna be a fun year watching him.

Jack Lopez: DNP Hand injury?
