Montana head coach Bobby Hauck has reconnected with Jimmy Morimoto of the University of Hawaii, hiring him to be the Grizzlies’ next director of football operations.
A Maui native, Morimoto comes to Missoula after one season as the Rainbow Warriors’ director of operations. Prior to that, he spent two years at Fresno State and eight years at UNLV, where he served under Hauck as the director of player personnel.
“We’re excited to welcome Jimmy and his family to Montana. He has made a significant personal sacrifice to join us, but he is coming here because he believes in Griz football and wants to be a part of it. We are lucky to be able to have a guy with his level of experience,” said Hauck.
