Washington-Grizzly Stadium is a 25,203-seat football stadium on the campus of the University of Montana in Missoula. The stadium opened on October 18, 1986 and is home to the University of Montana Grizzlies, a dominant program in Division 1 Football Championship Subdivision.
Up With Montana is the fight song of the University of Montana. Its lyrics are credited to Dick Howell, a law student and member of the glee club in the 1910s, who wrote them in 1914 “to commemorate the rivalry” for the 21st meeting between the University of Montana and its rival Montana State University.
In order to submit a birthday/anniversary request on Griz Vision, contact the Montana Grizzlies marketing department at 406-243-4336. They will take you through the information process and record your message. Announcements are $100 for the standard text-only slide or $125 for a slide that includes a picture. It is important to call as far in advance as possible to reserve your spot for your desired game as they can only accommodate ten requests per game. Birthday/anniversary slides are always played during the third media timeout of the first quarter.
