That team couldve beat anyone today. Purdoo looked scared, those blocks at the end for the smallest team in D1 were so fun to watch. Whatsup with these "small" NJ teams that beat the giants in the tournament?
Mind boggling to me why Purdue didn’t go zone. Edey was getting cooked on the perimeter.
For the life of me, I don’t understand why so many coaches prefer losing playing man than at least going zone some possessions to get them out of rhythm or just change it up a little bit.
I once had a coach tell me he wanted “here lies a man that never played a second of zone” on his tombstone. I’m like why? Your team routinely gets cooked by the other team’s best player because you can’t match up.
