MISSOULA, MONTANA (8/27/10) - The 2010 Grizzly Sports Network is bigger and better than ever, with radio stations from around the state carrying University of Montana football through the airways.

Griz football games are aired locally on KGVO-AM (1290) and KVWE-FM (101.5) of Missoula.

The team of Mick Holien and Scott Gurnsey will provide play-by-play and in-booth color, while Greg Sundberg serves as sideline reporter. This is Holien's 18th year as the "Voice of the Grizzlies" in football and men's basketball, and his 26th overall. Gurnsey, a former standout wide receiver at UM, is now in his 13th season as color commentator. Sundberg, the director of the Grizzly Scholarship Association, is in his second season as sideline reporter.

There has been a change this season on "Robin Pflugrad Show."
For the past several years it has been held on Mondays. The show has now been moved to Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Next Tuesday, August 31st Mick Holien will host the inaugural "Robin Pflugrad Show" of the season. The show features live interviews with Coach Pflugrad and Griz players, and its is also a call-in program which allows fans to ask questions of the head coach.

The weekly coaches show can be heard on many Grizzly Sports Network affiliates. Please check your local station for availability and time.

Holien also hosts a two-minute daily radio show called "Griz Biz."

UM's weekly radio coaches' show air on KVWE-FM (101.5) of Missoula, and is hosted by Paradise Falls, located at 3621 Brooks Street in Missoula.

The network's popular pre-game "Stadium Show," will once again be hosted by Pete DeNault and Tom Schultz. The stadium show also features the "UM Sports Journal," which highlights talks about all of the with Griz Athletic Director Jim O'Day.

The Stadium Show also included interviews with former Grizzly athletes, as well as interviews with home and visiting football coaches and school administrators, along with a Big Sky Conference preview show.
It also includes a section with Mick and Scott previewing that day's game.

UM's pre-game radio show, which is hosted in the tailgate area by Washington-Grizzly Stadium, airs for an hour-and-a-half before kickoff of each game.

Some weekends I listen to the games while out in the hinterlands of Eastern Montana. A few times in the past years they've shuffled stations on me and it was hard to find the game. So thank you for posting this list. :thumb:
