Here is a good example of of multi star kid that I don’t think any of us had on any radar or knew the Griz were after. There are more just like him, both HS kids and transfers.

How is it possible that a 2x 1st team all state running back isn’t on vim’s list? Seems like a good get for us…

"Growl"
Or they saw the success this kid in hoops and track and thought we need this kid. I remember watching Jace Lewis in divisional Class B hoops and thought to myself that kid isn’t a great basketball player but he’s the best competitor in this tournament. I would say the same thing when Tuff Harris blew everyone away in track. Kids develop late sometimes and you get a glimpse into potential. Dylan Cook NAIA QB to NFL lineman. Same with JC TE Griz offered Colby Bell. He was WR as a freshman WR then put on weight and moved to TE. That’s an athlete. Some of you guys are enamored with how many stars these kids have. But you don’t know their back stories. Did they have injuries ? Or did they grow a bunch later in high school? Griz coaches are working it. Go Griz!

Coaches are allowed to go to other teams camps and recruit?
I was told before the game started not to encourage the students to start my favorite chant, but you did it any way (FTC)- Bobby Hauck. Proud two-time UM alum and lifelong #1 Griz fan!

Coaches attend clinics and camps for other teams based on relationships. Coach Bradford and Sykes haven't directly overlapped, but there were two times that they were at the same University one year apart. I'm sure they had people in common and met at some point, or Bradford knows people in the Sykes coaching tree through that. Since we are obviously not competing with TCU for the same player pools, I doubt they would have any problem letting him talk to some kids.Griz til I die wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 12:54 pmCoaches are allowed to go to other teams camps and recruit?
I really think Bradford was a great get for us. I'm excited to see what he does with the defense.

Don’t see him on the offer list but early on in the spring we offered Matt Ballantine CB transfer from Eastern Kentucky, he just committed to San Diego today
