Another new Lady Griz commit

MJ was a first team all-state as a senior on the Seattle Times team. Must have some serious skills.

Nice to be recruiting Spokane again.

Briefly... she averaged 14.5 minutes per game, shot 52% from the field, 50% from beyond the arc. But the stat that stood out for me: 22 steals over the season, indicating solid defensive skills as a perimeter player.

The Pilots beat Gonzaga in the WCC tourney & advanced to the NCAA tourney.

An intriguing baller from the same high school that M.J. Bruno went to, West Valley hs in Spokane, is a Chloe DeHaro, a 5'9" PG/SG [Class of 2024], that has averaged 18.6 ppg in her three year career so far, along with a 5.36 assists :

Interesting take between 1:00 and 1:45...(DeHaro being #1 - dark jersey):

Solid info other than MJ Bruno went to Central Valley.

You're right. Damn it. I muffed up. M.J.Bruno went to Central Valley hs, not West Valley hs in Spokane. I thought maybe UM might have a connection to future prospects/recruits if we had players on the team that played at the same high school previously. Maybe invite for an unofficial visit or something. Looks like a fairly decent baller to me; be good somewhere. Oh well, at least I got the State and township correct. Geez.
Must have been too distracted by the possibility of a recruit that the LG may have a chance on besides Eastern Washington and Gonzaga competing for the same. I don't think the LG have had a recruit from around the Spokane area since Kayleigh Valley from University Prep, if not mistaken.
