The women's game has evolved. Players today are bigger, more athletic and better coached. I want to be on the side of evolution.

...I still wonder how an athlete like McKinley Willardson [Class of 2023] out of Santiago hs - Corona, Calif. can go unrecruited. The general information that I've gleaned is that her high school did not keep statistics so Willardson is really under the radar, really under the radar, so to speak. But a fan evidently did keep stats and it was found that she one of the top thirty posts in the state that averaged 18 points and twelve rebounds a game over three years (though only 6'1" or 6'2"), that also excels in volleyball and lacrosse:

Are there any more openings on the volleyball team? UofM can beat out everyone on this one. Track and field? Softball? Soccer? Just sign her up on something or other sport and put her on the basketball court and see what happens. Resumé sure seems evident. :thumb:

McKinley Willardson played for Santiago High School in Corona, California. Part of the CIF (California Scholastic Federation) Division 1 (California has six major divisions) that has a total enrollment (grades 9 - 12) of 3,589 students for the Santiago High School. Played Oakland Tech for the State Championship where Willardson scored 21 points 10 rebounds and six blocks going 9-14 on her shooting going against a reputed one of the top frontcourts in the State of California. Many observers have stated that her high school did her a disservice by not keeping game statistics throughout her career, but some fan or associated AUU coach must have.

Beyonce Bea to Washington State Cougars, after scoring 1,934 points for the Vandals: 4th All-Time Scorer for Idaho.

At least she doesnt have to move

Remind us if you see when WSU is playing a top team, like Stanford. Bea could score at will in the Big Sky, I'd like to see how she does at the top level.

I assume her little sister will stick with Idaho. Did they get a new women's coach yet? I always thought Newlee was a class act.

WSU had a very good squad last year (Pac-12 tournament champions) and they return a lot of their key pieces. The Lady Griz were pretty competitive with them for the first half in Pullman last December.

If I had to guess, Bea will probably be more of a complementary piece (third or fourth option) at WSU.

Speaking of Oregon State University, Wayne Tinkle has recently gotten a commit from a Gavin Marrs, 6'11" 4th ranked prospect out of the State of Washington. I say this because Gavin has a younger little sister, Alana @ 6'4" [Class of 2025], that has been a member of the Ellensburg hs basketball team along with a Jamison Philip and Olivia Anderson. Jamison [also Class of 2025] is apparently the younger sister of a Dylan Philip that has just played her freshman year for the Montana State bobbisockittens, and has the kitty fans over yonder drooling over her possible commit to their side of the fence.
Alana (when a freshman) was deemed...'good enough to provide an imposing presence in the paint while Anderson sat out...' Olivia Anderson recovering from a shoulder injury and sickness that later in her senior year became the #1 prospect in the State of Washington and the #6 in the nation; committing to the Washington Huskies.
This making me believe Alana is under the radar, at present, for the Class of 2025 and perhaps a frontcourt prospect for the LG:

Adria Lincoln was also affiliated with the NW Blazers PSA in the past on various occasions, it seems as well:

And Mason Quinn from Frenchtown. Who has a high upside and maybe a stretch for any Montana school by the time fall of her senior year comes around. Multi skilled and still room for tons of improvement.
