Idaho's victory over EWU gives Montana a 1.5 game lead in Big Sky Conference play, heading into the final stretch of conference games. However, Montana has currently played one more game than the 2 teams tied for second place (EWU and Northern Colorado), and with a March 5 rematch against the Bears looming, the regular season title is up for grabs.

If they can get through the next 4 with only 1 loss it should be for the #1 seed in three weeks. It looks like that bracket will be easier avoiding EWU or NC in the semis. You never know though, lots of hoops left but we only play in Bozo next week which should let the boys get some rest for the stretch run. Go Griz.
