Sorry, I have to ask. I just don't want to get overly excited, just on the fact that he is an instate QB. Over the years, we tend to over analyze the in state commits, just because of being in state.

The Mellot tape would be more useful if it didn't pause the play after the snap so a giant green arrow can identify him as quarterback. Nothing against the identifing the QB, but when you pause the play after the snap it makes it difficult to determine how quickly Mellot is getting rid of the ball.
There's a lot of entertaining QB play in high school that's made possible by the QB being able to hold onto the ball for more than two seconds. We don't see that kind of time in college.
