Josh Bannan and Hunter Clarke, both from australia, verbally commit to the Griz per 406mtsports.com. If this was already posted on egriz, I guess I missed it.

It was like a month ago when first reported but it’s all good. Clarke is a really big pick up. He’s been compared as a taller Delladova, NBA player, in Australian basketball circles.

JT Tan...

Posted On: 10/11/17 6:23 PM

Rolling Hills Prep, under the direction of Harvey Kitani, was one of the better teams in Southern California during the 2016/17 season as they bagged a Division 5 title—and the team should be even better this season with the likes of senior Alex Garcia, junior Chris Koon, along with sophomores JT Tan and Vaughn Flowers.

It’s a well-rounded team, but it all starts up front with the 6-foot-6 burly post prospect, Mr. Tan. After a successful run with Cal Supreme this summer, Tan has continued to hone his skills this fall.

“Playing with a ton of quality players on Cal Supreme definitely helped with my development and it gave me much more exposure.”

Tan possesses a strong frame with good length, soft hands, a quality motor, and advanced fundamentals.

“Due to my post skills and overall instincts in the paint, I feel I could always find ways to impact the game.”

He isn’t a great leaper, just yet, but Tan knows how to carve out space and has shown scouts that he is one of the better rebounders in-and-out of his area at both ends. “I still need to improve my boxing out though,” Tan noted.

When a player produces consistently on the court as much as Tan does, colleges are going to take notice.

“Stanford, Pepperdine, and American University are a few schools that are reaching out to me, but I know it’s way early in the recruiting process.”
