2020 Recruiting: 4 Signed & 4 Transfers

Maybe I’m missing something, but it seems like Travis still has the void of a quality big man. I realize he has Andersen who has potential, but will require additional development.

Agreed! :thumb:

Thanks, Whiz. Seems like he doesn’t anticipate passes to him, then has difficulty holding on to the ball.

I attribute that some to just getting used to the pace of the College game, but if it keeps happening next year, then it's a problem. Some guys just never get it, Like Eric "Stone Hands" Hutchison. I think Mack has significantly more talent and upside than Hutch ever did, though.

Seems odd that no one is pointing out how much better Mack got at catching the ball in traffic toward the end of the season. Huge improvement for him in this area.

Totally agree. The game slowed way down for him. Weight was his biggest issue. That will only get better with time. He is going to be a stud.

Speaking of Hutch, anyone know what he is doing? Hope he has things squared away.

I had read a kaiman article that referenced him a while back and it sounded like if he kept his nose clean for three years, the felony would be cleared. I would assume that time-frame is already over, so hopefully he is back on the straight and narrow.

Mack got better at every phase of the game as the season wore on.

Updated... Any more need to be added?

Selfishly, I hope the GRIZ add a big grad transfer. Steadman won't be playing games until 2020. Mack Anderson and Yagi need another player in the post. Both of them are young still, with high ceilings.

I think highly of Dorsey. He is a naturally gifted wing player, not meant to be playing a post position.

Averaged 20.6 for Northwest Nazerene last season

I saw him play. Solid player. Not exactly sure he's exactly what the Griz need. Probably picked the Griz, because of the Griz gear i wore to the games I went to. I know he saw me...had to be the reason...

Just committed to Winthrop :?
Not a big deal. Wouldn’t have been a good use for the last scholarship to get a sit one play one D2 transfer

As of now, it looks like Steadman will sit this coming season. I can't wait until he's eligible. He looks like an impact player.
