I’m thinking Miller will have to sit next year because he’s coming from D2 but he has a redshirt to burn I believe and he’ll be needed for 2019/2020 regardless.

You are right. Even with him sitting, this team will be deep. Dorsey is an upgrade as a combo forward, which will much of Krslovic's minutes. Dorsey will likely be granted another year of eligibility too. Kramer is going to be a huge asset on the boards, interior defense, and post scoring. He combines with Anderson and Carter o give the GRIZ impressive size for the next 4 or 5 years.

Manuel will likely be granted another year of eligibility as well. Either way, Miller and Manuel will be key contributors in 2019/20. I am excited for all these guys. Makes the upcoming graduation of Rorie, Oguine, Akoh, and Moorehead a little easier to absorb. These guys will all have time in the system, rather than having to get fresh faces to help replace them. DeCuire is helping the current team, with preparation for the future too. :thumb:

Having Miller and Manuel waiting in the wings for the next couple years after this year sets us up very nicely for continued dominance in the conference. :thumb: :thumb:

The other piece I love about our bench is having some talent to practice against. Having high-end transfers a few shooters and a mountain in the middle to help with game planning has to be a huge help during the season when your rotation is set.

Excellent post. I was just going to post something similar. It gets them in the system as well as just hanging with teammates. They will be solid the next handful of years. Great work coaches!

I am in no way saying he is as good and I am sure I will get blasted by some of you for even saying this, but his playing style reminds me of Lebron. Strong, aggressive to the rim, strong at the hoop and a decent shooter.

And I'm assuming his D is good, otherwise I doubt Travis would have bothered...

This guy is in fact a nightmare matchup for bigsky teams. A 6ft 7 guard that can drive, pick, drop fade and shoot from distance. Very athletic. His tape is impressive even vs D2 talent.

Title IX has brought scholarships for men's teams from 15 to 13. 2 less scholarships for every D1 program in the nation adds up. Guys are going to fall through the cracks, especially if they are late bloomers.

This reduction is sholarships is why you see schools part ways with recruits that don't live up to expectaions like our 3 this year. You don't have time to hope a guy develops.

Also a reason why both schools have had less Montana kids in the program than years ago. You don't have time for a kid to develop over 2-3 years if you want to stay relevant.

My opinion only.

I'll buy that.

I keep forgetting that there isn't a sub D1 such as FCS for football so what you said makes perfect sense.

Thanks!
