Right now both Jerry Palm and Lunardi on ESPN have Eastern Washington (Default as BSC Regular Season Champ) as a 15-seed.

Using NET Rankings and ESPN, this is how they fall out:
The top NET team still in the running is used. Schools listed have won their bid.

116 Play in 247 MEAC
16 Play in 203 SWAC
16 Play in 173 NEC
16 Play in 155 MAAC
16 157 Horizon
16 146 Big South Winthrop
15 140 Sun Belt
15 137 Summit
15 134 Big Sky
15 113 Big West
14 122 CAA
14 115 Patriot
14 102 MVC Bradley
14 101 OVC Belmont
13 105 WAC NMSU
13 87 C-USA
13 78 America E
13 74 MAC
12 77 Southland
12 70 Ivy Yale
12 68 A-Sun Liberty

Big Sky NETs
UNC - 100
EWU - 134
Montana - 141
PSU - 181
SUU - 182
Sac - 187
NAU - 227
MSU - 228
Weber - 270
ISU - 283
Idaho - 323

UNC would fit into the 13 or 14 line.

It would take some upsets for either Montana or EWU to get to the 14 line
Both CAA teams left have higher NET
Tourneys to watch
Need BU to beat Colgate for Patriot title
Need anyone but UC Irvine to win Big West
Need North Dakota to win Summit
Need anyone but New Mexico State to win the WAC
Need anyone but Vermont to win the America East
Need anyone but SFA to win the Southland

Upsets in the C-USA, MAC and Sun Belt could help as well.

You can talk about NET rankings all you want, and I’m not putting this all on you cause several posters think that’s all the committee looks at but Northeastern is 17-15, not exactly an attractive resume. While their NET maybe higher, that’s about all they have going for themselves.

Actually, the NET for Northeastern is pretty comparable to the Big Sky possibles. Hofstra's NET is very close to NoColo (the best in the Sky), so there is that. However, the RPI and BPI of the BSC contenders are all as good as or better than Hofstra ... and the SOS of all our contenders are way better than either Hofstra or Northeasten.

Agreed that NET is not the be-all end-all, but simply a relative yard stick.

No Big Sky team is going to be seeded better than say, Liberty or Vermont, but it is clear that if UND wins the Summit, they will be seeded lower than a Big Sky top team.

Hofstra wins CAA
Vermont advances to AEC final vs Big Sky affiliate member Hartford

Boston U beats Colgate for Patriot title - That helps non-UNC Big Sky seeding
Especially since Colgate's numbers are not going to get them an at-large bid.
