We can certainly hope. Unfortunately, the article mentions him not being a fit with Cronin's "Defense 1st" system. DeCuire shares that philosophy.
 
As a former Orlando Magic fan, I would be incredibly happy to see this happen but think snowballs have a better chance in hell than this does. Hopefully I get to eat my words on it. I think DeCuire can get people to buy into defense. Don’t think Shareef is incapable, just don’t think he has been coached to value that over numbers. It is a hard sell, but we can hope.
 
I can only remember seeing one former NBA player (besides Krysko) ever at a Griz game in Missoula-Luc Longley.

I literally ran into John Stockton coming out of the GRIZ Box office. I also believe, Michael Cooper has attended some GRIZ games. Cooper has a place in Polson. Michael Ray Richardson has been back too. I hope some others come up with a few more names.

I literally ran into John Stockton coming out of the GRIZ Box office. I also believe, Michael Cooper has attended some GRIZ games. Cooper has a place in Polson. Michael Ray Richardson has been back too. I hope some others come up with a few more names.

oh yeah duh? Stockton. I figured MRR attended a game or 2 but I never saw him. Cooper likely has been to a game too, but again, I never saw him.

To be picky, and if you know me than it's no surprise, but Mike Lewis never played in the NBA. he played 337 ABA games.
