2019/2020 Schedule

Those PAC-12 games may be getting harder to come by. The conference is going to a 20-game league schedule:

PS Come on Tinkle Let Tres come back and play one game in the Adams Center. The place would go crazy!!!!i

We've developed a lot of coaches who have advanced to "bigger and better things". I can only remember ONE coach (Stew Morrill) who brought his new team into Dahlberg (Colorado State). Monty let us go to Stanford to play once, but otherwise it's always the same. They have NOTHING to game by playing (and potentially losing to) us and they are all gutless to demand to play us. Show some balls Tinks, Krysko!

Oh, and yeah we actually WON that one game at Stanford, didn't we? David Bell was the star, if i recall correctly. THAT'S why they won't play us.

In this article, DeCuire says he already has 2 PAC-12 schools and 1 SEC school on next years schedule, and that he only has room for 1 non division 1 game next season.

Washington, Stanford, and Arkansas

I hope you are right

It is 100% accurate. Coach Cobb gave that information at the Ronan GSA event to those attending. Separate from that, they only have a few games left to set the 2019/20 basketball schedule. Usually DeCuire has the schedule finalized just after the GRIZ summer camps. We will have North Dakota or NDSU (can't remember which one) and Texas Southern visiting Missoula this year too.
North Dakota will visit us, and we will play at Omaha next season as part of the Summit-Big Sky series.

Will Brian Jones still be coach for UND? Love it when the Griz beat his teams.

Nope. Resigned May 1st and hours later was named Associate Head Coach at Illinois State.

Well, rats, that takes the fun out of the game. Is Illinois State Associate Head Coach really an upgrade? Or was this a writing on the wall sort of thing?

Sort of the classic "coaching carousel" kind of thing with some unique kinks for UND. Jones' contract was up for "evaluation," and there were negotiations going on. The oddity was Jones resigning on May 1 and later in the day announcing he's accepted a position at Illinois State, where his reported salary (touching $500k) was more than double what he'd been paid as HC at UND. (This is a rough summary, Potomac. My UND source was not certain of all the details). Regardless, Jones stepped up by stepping down.
