Men’s tennis is picking up where they left off last fall with almost a whole new cast. Four Sr’s graduated from last years squad leaving only three returning players with college experience and six new Fr. Their first tourney in Cheany with EWU, MSU, and Seattle University shown that they’re ready to continue on. Jr Max Korkh won the A draw bracket going 4-0 and Fr Oisin Shaffrey won the B draw. All in all the Griz were 13-7 in all single matches and 5-5 in doubles matches with the Fr Shaffrey and Jr Ludvig Hallgren teaming up for a third place finish. Should be another big year for the Griz. Go Griz!!
"In Bill's(Wild Bill Kelly) tragic death there might be some message for the college society that basks in the glory of the football team and the individual heroes, but overlooks the fact that they are like the rest of us with conflicts, fears, frustrations, and weakness."-Joseph Cochran, friend of Kelly's
