Good:
- Brown taking some shots downfield for once and being given the green light to do so
- brown grew up a little bit in that game and made some very impressive throws (ended up at 55% for 256 yds and 1 passing TD and 1 running TD
- Macias showing us he can hit a 45+ yard FG
- Buschini continues to show he may punt in NFL some day
- I like what I saw in Fontes returning punts….true freshman with some speed and moves
- Bergen continues to be a huge addition going for 77 yards and a 2 TDs, averaging 4.3 per carry
- Mitch Roberts with the biggest game of his career….7 grabs for 145
- Ford with his 5th interception in 5 games…..incredible streak
- Hicks-Onu with a pick
- the Griz defense only gave up 242 total yards and forced 2 turnovers
- O’Connell continues to show why he is the favorite for Big Sky defensive POTY….9 tackles, 2.5 TFL, 2 sacks
- Lewis with a monster game racking up 13 tackles and 2 TFL
- having Robertson back is making a difference on the back end

Bad:
- Forbes going out with injury
- some penalties wiping away TDs

Ugly:
- the targeting call and roughing the passer call on Gubner and no ability to review it….sheesus Big Sky officials really are the worst

Ugly:
You have to admit that Brown running for the endzone and the turf monster tackling him was ugly but funny!!!!!!!!!!

I’m just glad he didn’t hyperextend his knee. That looked like it was gonna be ugly… glad it wasn’t.

Good call…..that was ugly……turf monster roared its ugly head big-time on that play. Brown seemed disgusted with himself haha.

Oh man, how bad was that turf???!!!! They really need to upgrade as soon as possible. Good grief.

Oh also meant to add:

- good to see defense hold them to only 97 yards rushing and only 2.1 ypc.

They were averaging 199 rushing yards per game leading up to this.

We spent a good portion of that game with 8-9 guys in the box. There was literally nowhere for their RB's/QB's to go for the most part, with the exception of a couple broken plays.

Bad and Ugly - the Idaho player firing a right hook to the head of a Griz after play was stopped and not one ref noticed...

Bad: Idaho/Kibbie Dome Game Day atmopshere. It was absolute sh!t. Everything about it sucked.

They had beer in the stadium......no long lines to get into the stadium (or concessions or beer)......really nice little golf course right above campus easily walkable to the game after 9 holes....lots of room to stretch out in the seats....chance for Griz fans to make an impact on the noise level that seemed to kind of jump start the team late in the 1st quarter.....and the Griz easily won the game.

I disagree......everything about it didn't suck!

Their marching band put on a good halftime show and was entertaining throughout the game. Even when they drowned out the MONTANA.......Grizzlies cheers.

Now pregame atmosphere was almost non-existant. And with all of the plugs for the Idaho Potato Council, you'd think there was no other industry in the state!

The marching band also did great job of taking up TWO FULL SECTIONS of premium 20 - 35 yard line seating on one side of the Kibbie Dome. At $300 or so a pop Montana probably brings in over $150,000 in season ticket and GSA fees for the comparable sections of Washington Grizzly. Hard to believe how far Idaho has fallen.

You'll have to admit that for at least this game, those seats were not denying anyone else a seat!

1) That targeting call was pure crap, but typical of the BSC level of ability.
2) After their second score, going for the on-sides kick while being down 20 points was chicken shit, but typically Petrino-esque. Figured Bobby would be pissed. He put in the first string 'D' and shut them down, then took a couple shots of his own before calling off the dogs for the last play. Petrino looked like he just sucked on a lemon.

Watching on TV I was impressed (?), or better described as dumbfounded, to see the Idaho band played their instruments with their MASKS ON.

The flute girls had little side slits to push it through the mask. Some of the horn kids appeared to have a thinner section to the front of their masks. The only ones I noticed playing without the masks were their tuba players. Impressed but mystified how the school was that overboard with the Covid protocols.
