Yes, Carson received All-State selection at both QB and SS both Junior and Senior years. Watched him play 3 times and not surprised by this move. Like I said above, he is very intelligent and can read a field instantly…both behind the ball at QB or attacking it on D. This might be a good opportunity for Carson.

I have been a big fan of his since his great high school years. I am friends with a coach whose team played Carson's in high school, and he thinks Carson will become a great college player, if Bobby can place him in the right position. Kinda like Graves, an incredible talent trying to find a position. We seem to be too deep at the safety position, when only two of them can play at one time. So much untapped talent riding the pines. Carson has the physical build to put on another 15-20 lbs and move to LB, where I think he could be great. We'll see how it all plays-out.
Curious how Robbie Hauck keeps his starting spot with guys like graves, Janacaro, Rostand, Turner and more, who are bigger, faster and more physical. I watched from the East stands as troy Anderson literally ran/stepped over the top of him for long gain in the epic second half meltdown of 2018. Just my opinion but we have better athletes who can better fill that spot.smhSaskGriz said:The Griz play with 3 safeties.hunt-ducks said:I have been a big fan of his since his great high school years. My point is you have all these athletes who are bigger and faster and they and have a 5-10 one hundred and nothing pounds playing there. Wasting talent from that recruiting class imho.Alaska Griz said:Jesse said:Curious how Robbie Hauck keeps his starting spot with guys like graves, Janacaro, Rostand, Turner and more, who are bigger, faster and more physical. I believe Graves is the only guy you mentioned who plays safety.
Not curious at all; he's one of the leading tacklers in the BSC. Tackles 2019 Griz: Olson 179, Lewis 131, Hauck 129, Robertson 72. Once again your lack of football knowledge is exposed.Jesse said:Curious how Robbie Hauck keeps his starting spot with guys like graves, Janacaro, Rostand, Turner and more, who are bigger, faster and more physical.
