Season tix

Well... they’re going to be electronic and saved to your phone. Not sure when they’ll be available.

I'm curious if this is going to make my life harder or easier. I have between 18-22 tickets depending on the game and give tickets away every weekend. Currently I just leave the extras at my office and coordinate getting them to the right people. The idea of using my phone to shoot them to the right people is exciting.

Shouldn't make your life harder. Just forward the tickets to whoever wants them via email. Are the cats moving to digital tickets as well?

Anyone know where season tickets are in relation to a normal year? Ahead? Behind?
This is the final week of renewals. Maybe ask the question again next week and somebody will be bound to have an answer.

That is my understanding.

On one side, sometimes it's just easier living them for whoever to come and pick them up as sometimes they go to friends of friends and things like that. People I'm not necessarily familiar with all the time. So now that will mean getting their email or phone number or whatever I need.

However, the majority go to co-workers, family and friends and for them this process will go much easier.

Guess I'll just see how it unfolds in a few months!

I just exchanged emails with McKell Bennett; she confirmed a total move to digital tickets, no more of the nice season ticket booklets, presumably a cost savings. But in addition to phone ap delivery, there is an option for email and print-at-home, which I've selected. As per usual, expect ticket distribution "early to mid August."

That's too bad, I know it's the wave of the future but I like saving old ticket stubs. Time marches on.

So much for those who wave tickets in the air to sell right before the games. Terrace tickets will still have credentials.

Go Griz!

They can just wave their smart phones now

You can logon to your Griztix account and choose to have your tickets emailed to you for each game. I did this and they sent me a link with a PDF of the tickets and you can print them out on a printer for each game. No need to use your phone if you don’t want to.

I expecting with Coach Sixx that by mid-October you won’t be able to give those cat tickets away to the chronically homeless.

+2 I still have my Griz-UNDSU ticket and lanyard hanging in my office.

Glad there is the print at home option where you can still take a ticket with you. (even if just a piece of paper)
Yeah, I'm not keen on driving over 300 mi and depending on a phone ap.

For those of us that collect our ticket stubs and have been doing so for 30+ years it truly is an end of an era. Too bad the University doesn't offer a printed "real" ticket option (season ticket holders) for a price for those who prefer it... seems like in this age of small batch digital printing that could be easily accomplished and a nice additional money stream...

I'm sure you're very hopeful of that. :thumb:

Just show them your guest folio from the C'mon Inn; they'll escort you right to your seats.

Wait a minute. You drive 300 miles for a single game?! What about when it is cold and snowy? Do you really drive that interstate when it is cold and snowy?!

Seems like you might be a way better fan than all those suckers that live in Missoula that just wander down to the tailgates a couple hours before kickoff.

:coffee:
