this'll get moved, and that's ok, but a lot of people don't want to buy stuff made in countries with dictatorships and the like. there is a free chrome extension that i discovered today that will tell you where items on amazon, walmart, etc, are from, and where to get equivalents that are made in america. it actually works. it is called "cultivate". this tells you about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1DRblcRnDo

the app can be found here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cultivate/pfldomphmndnmmhhlbekfbafifkkpnbc?hl=en-GB, and there is a tutorial here:

it is from a start-up from marc cuban, with the goal of helping people 'buy american'. also, to make money, obviously.

This is intriguing and I would like to use it, but I do most of my online shopping from my phone or tablet, and it looks like they don't have a mobile app yet (at least I couldn't find one).

i suppose you could put chrome on your phone or tablet, and use that instead of a direct app to access amazon, etc... not 100% sure if it'll work, as i haven't tried it, but i do use chrome a lot on my phone, just to browse the news when i have to wait for stuff.

Good point. I already do have chrome but I use store apps for shopping mostly because of the convenience. I will have to see what might work.

Before this gets moved to some other page. (It's not about that one transgendered athlete ever so #34 might "moderate" it). My concern is about getting all my on-line porn from the Philippines, it's not a dictatorship but the lighting is terrible and the scripts are reductive.

You poor thing. I’d like you to say that with a straight face to someone from N. Korea or China. Has quality of life just changed so much for you since Jan 21?

I just posted a reply to PR so they moved the Catlynn Jenner thread. What a bunch of woke ass moderators protecting PR again. Getting a thread moved is kind like cancel culture isn’t it fellas? Hey moderators why don’t you let the board decide when a topic is too political rather then you fucking illiterate commissars. Power does corrupt.

Sask, you should browse the Eastern European porn, it has English subtitles

You are good at getting threads moved or shut down. And, that's what go you kicked off the board previously.

The Wiki piece is completely inaccurate. There is not one shred of evidence that the reporter was "body-slammed". He just tweeted that as he walked out of the campaign offices, actually as he was kicked out of the campaign office. See below. The article also says the reporter was "hospitalized". He wasn't hospitalized. He went to the ER for a bumped elbow, and left the ER almost immediately. I'm happy to be you $100 that he wasn't hospitalized, and I know I can prove with a newspaper article. Put up or shot up on that bet, Jesse/Dutch

Laura Ingraham Show, the day after the incident (she caught the Fox reporter in a lie):

[Is this your idea of a "body-slam"? How do you body-slam someone without picking them up?]

“One of you guys said last night that he put his hands around his neck,” Ingraham said. “Which, as somebody who’s done a lot of taekwondo and self-defense, to me that seemed, that might not be exactly right.”

“You know, and I’m the one who said that,” Acuna replied, “I saw both his hands go up, not around his neck in a strangling type of way, but more just on each side of his neck, just grabbed him and I guess it could’ve been on his clothes, I don’t know.”

Ingraham asked Acuna if that meant she was changing her story.

“Again, just to clarify, he didn’t grab him by the neck with both hands in the way that was initially described, that’s not quite accurate,” Ingraham asked at the end of the interview."

"People on Twitter who claim to be eyewitnesses to the alleged assault said that when the reporter pushed his phone in Gianforte’s face, Gianforte grabbed his wrist and they both fell down."

Gianforte gains in popularity among Montanans day by day. He does not have a tough act to follow.

wait, you don't make political posts or do anything but talk about football on egriz. i guess you forgot. also, the subject is about a tool to help you know where the stuff you are buying online is made. don't know if you buy stuff online, but some of us do so, frequently. websites don't tell you where a product is coming from, and searching it out often becomes pretty much impossible. presumably you believe such a tool could be useful. it is a mark cuban venture, and seemingly not affiliated with any entity the U.S. is at odds with, at least after your boy don lost. people should always weigh the pros and cons when giving something access to their computer programs, but the list of websites they interact with is online. be as informed as you can be, i guess.

side thread: i hope gianforte is as good as you say. i hope he is good for everybody, although you obviously can't satisfy everybody's wants when a governor. hopefully he wasn't one of those "stolen election" idiots, if he was then i think he's probably just another power junkie, who will get there however he can.

The Gov. will be great on all of the things listed. Not so much on a number of social issues, but that's not in my list.

1. Transgender and more. I didn't follow the bills.

2. "Lockdowns Didn’t Stop Covid

A new study finds more virus spread inside homes than work places." Study by Casey Mulligan.

3. "China, Fauci and the Origins of Covid

Did the virus come from a Chinese lab funded by the celebrated doctor’s U.S. government institute?"

"Mr. Wade then details at length why he believes a lab-created virus in this case is much more likely than a natural one.

Nicholas Wade is a science writer, editor, and author who has worked on the staff of Nature, Science, and, for many years, the New York Times."

1) i fully support transgender people's rights to live their lives as they want. they are a very small percent of the population, though, so i am a bit conflicted about some issues, like bathrooms. my concern is for women - i wouldn't want to sit on a toilet seat i had to clean first because a bunch of guys were lazy and left them, uh... wet

2) lockdowns didn't work very efficiently the way we, or any other free country went about it. they did seem to work in china, where people suspected of having covid had their doors welded shut so they couldn't get out.

3) at first, i thought the lab theory was bat-shit crazy (pun intended). but the way the ccp has been acting, plus my first-hand experience with how a subset of the mainland chinese workforce cuts corners any time they can, made me start to think differently. this indifference to the potential dangers of cutting corners in a field like virology extends to mainland chinese scientists, post-docs, and grad students. please note that i wrote "subset of mainland chinese" - taiwanese of chinese ethnicity, and the better scientists, never acted this way, that i saw.

3.5) our very own nih has funded many state-of-the-art infectious disease labs in china, and paid for the training of a large percentage of their better scientists. i have a friend, who is now quite old, who was a professor of infectious diseases at georgetown university, and also affiliated with tufts or m.i.t.. he brought a lot of cutting edge science techniques and scientific equipment to china, and established several cutting-edge research labs there, all funded by the nih. he used to send out a 'newsletter' mostly about climate change, the economy, and his dislike of trump, but went quiet after i questioned him about why he never openly criticized the ccp, and asked him how he felt now about bringing that technology to places like xinjiang, where it can be used as part of the plan to suppress the uyghurs. he never responded, and i never saw another of his 'newsletters'. go figure. anyway, we've handed them a lot over the years, pretty stupidly, it seems in hindsight.

oh, and i can only read the start of the article, due to the firewall. i subscribe to two newspapers, and read others using a vpn. don't want to pay for another one.
