EverettGriz said:Yes you would. Of course, you’d also think a QB Hauck brought in could complete a pass longer than 15 yards to wide open receivers, especially considering he already had the National freshman of the year with a cannon for an arm.

You just stop right there. If you get the keys to the Olds and inherit a QB like that, the last thing you'd ever do is let him walk outta town.

This is what social media does to mush for brains,
The coach that is on sidelines now, does not ware.green hat, and didn’t let the Pre-Madonna National Freshman of the year walk, that was all on the Freshman of the Year, and good riddance, wasn’t Griz material anyway.

Maybe it should have been addressed before fall camp this year. Could our coaching staff not see that coming?PlayerRep said:fanofzoo said:He said that the O-line was suspect (no shit) and if the O-line was stitts shouldn't they be able to pass block at least.
Why would a young o-line, which lost 4 starters from last year, doesn't have any seniors in the group, lost a good returner due to concussions, and has 5 true frosh or redshirt frosh on the two deep, be able to be good at pass blocking this year? Just from magic?
The shallowness of some of the posts is truly amazing.

How do you explain that Sneed has a higher completion percentage than Jensen did last year, and has this year? Note that the offensive had more short passes last year. Bubble screen after bubble screen, and swing pass after swing pass. Recall how many went to JLM? Also, how do you explain that Jensen had 10 interception in 8.5 games? And Sneed has 3 in 7 games?
Just saying that it was very apparent that we needed more o-line big bodies when Hauck first inherited the roster. Don't tell me that he couldn't have brought in some JC or drop down players last year.PlayerRep said:indian-outlaw said:Maybe it should have been addressed before fall camp this year. Do you think experienced good o-lineman grow on trees and just magically appear if they are called? Hauck did bring back a kid who had left the team in the winter. The Griz also moved another good athete from another position, and that kid is now a starter. Those things were positives in terms of addressing the problem.

I still remember all the talk when they didn't offer all their scholarships early that oline would be upgraded with some transfers using some of those scholarships.....ya not so much.
I guess I don't know that they did or not. I'm sure they tried but it didn't happen and we are paying the price now.PlayerRep said:indian-outlaw said:Just saying that it was very apparent that we needed more o-line big bodies when Hauck first inherited the roster. They tried, but it didn't work out. Don't tell me they didn't look for any.
