6 Eastern Washington 1-0 3-1
7 Weber State 1-0 3-1
19 Montana 1-0 3-1
21 California-Davis 1-0 3-1
Montana State 1-0 3-1

Northern Arizona 1-0 2-2
Idaho State 1-0 2-1
Sacramento State 0-1 2-2
Idaho 0-1 1-2
Portland State 0-1 1-3
Cal Poly 0-1 1-3
Northern Colorado 0-1 0-4
Southern Utah 0-1 0-4

EWU is the team to beat, Might run the table, can't see them losing more than 1
Cal-Davis is probably the #2 team right now
Griz, Can they play a full game? If they did they would be 4-0
Weber just keeps winning, Nothing shinny, just workman like
msu schedule gets brutal the next 4 weeks, need to win at least 2 of them

Could make some noise
NAU (Will Cookus play?)
ISU (Better than some may have thought)
Sac State (Made me a believer this weekend)

Non-Factors
Southern Utah, UNC, Poly, PSU and Idaho

ISU plays NAU this weekend, so some of the questions will be answered
One of them will have 3 loses, 5 games into the season

I predict that Litterbox Nation is going to wake up next Sunday morning still tied to a bedpost with smeared lipstick on their face and no recollection of the past 18 hours.

Didn’t ISUs win over UND make them 1-0 in Conference too? I believe all games vs UND count for the teams playing UND but UND can only get at large to playoffs and can’t win the big sky title

But the griz are away next week, so the griz players wont be around to do that to people... But yes, next week is going to be a very tough game for the Cats.

Keep that in the back of your mind though, it's coming.

Yes. ISU is now 1-0 in league play.

Fixed it... Wasn't sure what the league was doing with ND

Griz will be probably be favored in all their games left except
UC Davis (Probably- Pick em at Home)

UM Schedule
at Poly
Home PSU
at North Dakota
Home UC Davis
at Southern Utah
at Idaho
Home msu

Not playing Weber or Eastern probably assures a game with one of them the opening game of the playoffs if the Griz get there.

Precisely what I said to my spouse earlier this evening.

We will win the big sky because we wont lose a game and the worst we could do is tie for the championship because either EW or W will lose one conference game. They both might lose a game as well so we either win out right or tie.

Remember UC Davis is on our schedule. They are not your Mama's UC Davis team of old...

And Davis used to do very well in D-2. They've transitioned and have a solid coaching staff there. I think they will be solid for quite a few years. Still hope that the Defense figures it out by the time we see them at home.

Where's that 'scat fan jagoff who insisted we'd only be favored in 4 of our 11 games?

This is how massey rankings have it playing out.
D-1 Predicted
wins wins losses final record
Weber St Big Sky 3-10.750 3 5.37 1.63 8.37 Big Sky Auto
E Washington Big Sky 3-10.750 2 4.86 2.14 6.86 At Large
UC Davis Big Sky 3-10.750 3 4.55 2.45 7.55 At Large
Montana Big Sky 3-10.750 3 4.65 2.35 7.65 At Large
Montana St Big Sky 3-10.750 3 3.89 3.11 6.89 At Large
CS Sacramento 2-20.500 1 4.13 2.87 5.13 Out
Idaho 1-20.333 0 4.03 3.97 4.03 Out
Northern Arizona 2-20.500 2 3.29 3.71 5.29 Out
Idaho St 2-10.667 2 3.3 4.7 5.3 Out

at the start of the year I predicted 9-2 and maybe 10-1 and possibly 11-0. The two tough games I felt we might lose were W Ill and we lost that one and I thought perhaps the vandals but I way over estimated the vandals. So I am happy with 10-1. We lucked out with our schedule and I have said that from the beginning. We are both lucky and good and getting better.

I see no scenario in which 5 teams from the Big Sky make the field.

I agree. I think Montana vs cats will determine who gets in between them. I see 4 teams in.
