Alright smack talkers ;) (ha!)...Here we go...having a little reminiscing of years past tonight got me thinking..What do I really OWN at home that I could prove to someone that makes me a fan (insert hardcore if you want, no, not porn Alpha :thumb: ).
I'm not talking I HAVE A GRIZ room...cause more than not have that sort of thing...I'm talking after a few good drinks, what is that one item(s) you would be so proud to show someone of your "Griz Days"...
For me...5 items.
1. My first is my 200 plus stack of various Missoulian articles that all have mentions of major announcements, upsets, or the championship games. To this day, I only have the SFA game and the Marshall game behind glass on the wall in my Griz room. Someday, I would love to have half of my articles up.

2. My old school Griz Basketball authentic Copper and Gold Jersey. More these days can proclaim they have a football Copper, few have the basketball.

3. My old school Griz Football...ah hell....just see #2 :thumb:

4. My daughter got her first autograph day when Chase broke the TD record...so it's not mine, but hers...she got 30 autographs that day including Tru's. As a dad watching his then 4 year old carry around a Sharpie and regulation football for some ink...probably the best item I have on the Mantle...

5. My 2013 press pass that allowed me unfettered access anywhere during the Cal-Poly vs. Griz game. Many great pictures that day. Under the No Zone for OT. My ears hurt so bad after that game. Had to get a second camera from the wife because I ran the battery out of the first one before halftime.

6. #EDIT...I should have added the two authentic Griz practice jerseys with BigSky Conf patches that ReMax bought me for a buck a piece...which I still owe him $2 to this day .....

What is your best or most favorite item....doesn't have to have any kind of value...just what item would you want your family to continue to hold and pass along...

After reading your list mine isn't as thoughtful but it did take a lot of work.

It's my 300 fwhp silver grand prix. I choose maroon and silver for the engine bay.

My entire office is decorated in Griz stuff and momentos, but Similarly, it would be in my garage:

I chose maroon for the color  and silver for the engine compartment. :thumb:

Oh, and #GoPontiac!

If not my car, then it would have to be a couple of the items in my office. i've got a framed copy of the 1995 Championship commemorative limited edition print, signed by #15 and the artist (Ron Jenkins). Framed along with that print is a 1-ounce limited edition silver coin commemorating the 1995 championship as well...I'd post pics, but i don't have any.

I also own a 2001 1-ounce silver coin commemorating the 2001 championship, but I'm waiting to find the perfect items to frame it with...

My pitcher from the last Aber Day kegger which is still encrusted with mud from that hallowed beer soaked ground.

1995and 2001 autographed footballs. My brother in law gave me the 95 ball for my birthday before the season. He was a student trainer. Bought the 2001 ball at an auction in Spokane.

Mine is a closet full of Griz clothing given to me by Papa Bear himself when he was AD at UM. Great man, not to busy to take calls and send a fan he met such great items. Will be sad to see him leave Corvallis following Bruce to Nebraska.

I would say my degree but it's in Forestry and I live now in a land of no trees and teach history, so my grey University of Montana Athletic Department sweat shirt with copper lettering. "Borrowed" for me by a former Griz All-American from the Athletic department.

So it can be touched, worn, experienced.. Last time I wore it was 2011 vs.UNI. I've always thought framed jerseys look odd. Not my style I guess.

I do frame though, just haven't done so with the 37. If it weren't priceless to me it'd probably be in some cheesy 37 case.

I have a 1933 Grizzly-Bobcat football program that is unique. The game is played in Butte, as was the custom. What makes this program unique is that the front and back covers are actually copper. They are thin metal covers that have have a beautiful football image pressed onto the front cover. The back cover has some print at the top and the body of the page is left blank so it can be written on. This program does have a letter written by a gentleman to a lady friend, wishing she was there with him.
I am fairly certain this is the only year these copper programs were made.
I will try to get some pictures downloaded as it a very unique piece of Grizzly history.

If you left click on these images., they will appear super sized and allow you a much more detailed view. Thanks
