Tell me we can’t hang with either of these teams. This is the first year is quite a few when I think that’s a real possibility.

For the last decade I would say that there was no way we could. 2015 seems like such an anomaly given all the factors of that game the travel, washington grizzly, the smoke, a new coach, and some pieces in place, especially with how we showed up to the dome in the playoffs.

The offense looked competitive in 2019, but had some injuries at the wrong time coupled with Sneeds worst game.
The defense and special teams looked competitive last year, but with an anemic offense hobbled by injuries it was obvious we still needed to grow.

This year we look the part on all three phases of the game, and we match up well against NDSU. The biggest thing, which is becoming obvious is Hauck has rebuilt Montana different than the early 2000's team. He is rebuilding to beat NDSU. Having a 2 deep defense is the way to stifle NDSU's game plan. A defense that won't wear down in the 3rd and 4th quarter where you can stretch a lead. Coupled with a special teams that can swing a tight game, and now an offense that is two-dimensional and can customize a game plan to an opponent.

We can definitely hang with these teams, no doubt in my mind.
