2025 defense

Cranky

As a longtime Griz fan, I dont recall a season/defense where I saw so many 3rd and long defensive plays, were the Grizzlies got beat. I know that all 11 players on the field have to do their part, but I believe are biggest issue was the poor play of our defensive secondary. Primarily, our rotsting safeties. Falling down, running into their teammates, blown coverage, etc. The playoff loss was a great example. What can we expect in 2026?

Griz are going to run a 4-4-3 defense.

Bobcats anticipated the Griz would fall back into the Cleveland Steamer defense, where they got caught with their pants down. Took a Donkey Punch to the mid section. Taco pulled a Dirty Sanchez leaving mud on their faces, essentially wiping their noses in it. My impression was they wanted to hand the scats the game on a Pittsburg Platter.

PS I hate the offseason.

I mean, if this is a serious question, we will have a much upgraded defensive backfield. The players that stayed will be older, and everything I have heard is still the the Beaners' futures are bright. We brought in some talent from the outside with potential, and we are scrapping the entire defensive scheme and brining in a new coordinator for the defense and a new safeties coach. I'd imagine we can expect different results out of the defense.

Meanwhile, as Taco is delivering his Dirty Sanchez to our dbs, Lambskin is untouched in the Cat backfield, playing the Cat fightsong on his Rusty Trombone.

And then the replay shows Vigen snacking on German Knuckle Cake and Johnson removing his Roman Helmet before reaching the sidelines. Remember, you can no longer get the Big Boy Platter above the Mason-Dixon line.
