I’m ok with Hauck retiring/ resigning or whatever. People got the inalienable right to the pursuit of happiness. My question is did Illinois watch any film of our defense the last few years? It wasn’t that long ago that Eastern and Weber hung + 50 on the Griz D. Couldn’t stop power running game. Gave up way too many 3 and long in critical moments! Anyway, good for coach Hauck and his family. Hope it all works out. Go Griz!

The reason was retirement. He no longer wanted to be a head coach. He made that clear.

FU. He was perfectly clear that being a head football coach wasn't fun anymore. You can be sure he did not entertain any HC offers.
