hope coach Gore has a potential GK in his recruiting pipeline - Flynn’s official announcement today. Not sure when she’ll leave for Austin, but hard to scrimmage with only one keeper

3-4 goalies on a roster is the norm for programs like Texas who can fund 28 full-ride scholarships. I say good for her and every one of Chris’ recruits who were cut or entered the portal - all are at Div 1 programs todayGood for her, she’s the 4th goalie on the roster.
I was not going to post from my online sleuthing yesterday, however I will do it to return the topic to Griz positives.
I live in the Seattle area, and my local football team (Seahawks) were in a big game yesterday which lacked drama, so I decided to go online during the game to read about the four 2026 Griz signees who signed in November and are hopefully still committed to playing in Missoula.
None of the four had anything posted about any school other than Montana. What is significant is that two of the four were named to play in the High School All-American game two months ago in December. Thus there were two players on the All-American game West Team roster with "Montana" next to their names - along with All-American teammates who were mostly Power-5 school signees.

Anyone have an accurate 2026 roster count. 13 here this spring (one being the GK that just signed), 4 still in the 2026 class? So 16? Is that accurate or are there some of the 13 that are out of eligibility or leaving at the end of the semester?

Yes, his NAIA teams were all International players.Lots of International contacts.
His NAIA school AD gave him a large recruiting budget to build a new team at that school, and NAIA recruiting rules are very "flexible" compared to NCAA rules.Yes, his NAIA teams were all International players.
At his D-I schools, most players were domestic. But not all.
