What good would that do if there's nobody available right now? All it would do is cause insecurity in the program and likely lead to a mass exodus of players.

And???? So the fuck what? If he’s so great why has he never been an oc? Why has he never been a head coach? It’s not like the guy is in his 20’s. He’s been around coaching for 30 years and no one thought to give him an oc position?

Okay give us your short list. And don't put people on there who would never come to Montana, or Montana could never afford.
With the portal and NIL, I don't think you have the luxury of doing that. A search would lead to losing a lot of players.

No. He talks a good game but all he ever did well was beat the Griz. Absolutely not.

I like Kennedy but there is no denying that Choate has more experience and probably better connections within Montana. He successfully turned MSU around and built the foundation that won them the championship this season.

Ok went to UM Western and is from Northern Idaho. Had 3 years experience establishing recruiting pipelines at the likes of Billings West as MSU’s head coach is the part of his resume that I would be the most interested in.

Sure. I would also get not wanting to hand the reins to a guy that is unproven as anything other than a position coach
Last I talked to him about it he did but that was about 5 years ago and his current job pays pretty well
