A couple missing notables. Pardon me if news has already broke on their departures.
Two quality Fr recruits from last year
WR Jammel Ward Fr 6'4"
TE Maliki Davis Fr
S Micah Harper RSr
Hoping he gets re-added later if its true hes appealing for another year and that hes not entering the transfer portal. Used a medical in '23 so he has a chance of getting that extra year back.

Malaki Davis was taken off the roster Midyear I believe he ended up greyshirting I’ve seen a few tik tok videos I believe of him still saying he’s a Montana football player.
Wish we had definitive word on Harper. Reading between the lines it appeared that's the case but it'd be nice to know for sure!

K, i believe greyshirts are usually still on the roster. Im pretty sure both Cole and Braxton were. Typically a greyshirt is someone who doesn't enroll till the spring semester. I have no idea what his enrollment status was or is.

I think it should be a pretty clear cut case but then again, its the ncaa. He tore his ACL in fall camp in '23 and had to miss the entire season after using a regular RS in '21.
I see they already removed Norcross and Green from the coaching staff too.

So we have 68 guys listed there, with 20 incoming true freshman commits for the ‘26 class, 2 known transfer commits and 2 unknown transfer commits based on grizbang posts. Sounds like we have a minimum of 13 open roster spots to fill then? I expect that is closer to 20 still depending on who we tagged last year as designated athletes that are grandfathered in allowing us to go beyond 105. I would assume if possible, Hauck would like to see the roster around 110-112 if possible.

Man I hope he stays and the 2026 offense can be special again. Go out to good ol grizzlies and support the program the best we can. It’s a great tool to support the team.

If he's back and we got 2 all-conference players in him and Wing then that could make for a much more seamless transition on D next year!
