Have you ever seen such elective incompetence from somebody so respected within his profession?
It's like somebody once told Hauck that he couldn't win a title without putting a 2nd DT on the field, and he's dedicated his life to dying on that hill rather than evolving a shred of humility.

And we Montanans gets to reap the bounty of his hubris and limited neuropathways as soon as the Griz face a real O-line, year after year.

Also, maybe UM could use any of these many Montana-born players that the other side continues to develop into elite FCS stars and the cornerstones of a championship culture.
Y'know, like back when the Griz could beat MSU.

Or just keep losing, Bobby.
Never admit you were wrong about anything.
Never try anything new, except for giving up on representing the state of Montana.
Never grow.
Take all your 2nd- and 4th-place trophies and remember: You lost your way.

How’d the 4th quarter go? This staff cannot get it done. Period. Came out flat and unprepared. Players fought hard, scheme and recruiting are terrible. So easy to push around. Those are simply facts. Bobby is 2-6 against the cats this go around. 7-8 over both stints. The program is 3-8 against the cats in the last 10 years. Semis are all fine and dandy but when will you admit that Bobby can’t get it done? Because he has PROVEN it. Not ever in a natty. And certainly not against the cats. Bobby 2.0 has a losing record with the same win loss ratio as Stitt.

Before you launch a “never played the game” or “bad fan” trope, I’m mad because I care. Its absurd that the house is clearly on fire and nobody seems to care because “we went to the semis.”

That is the most depressingly accurate bit of poetry I’ve read. I hate this
 
I honestly do not mind Hauck as a head coach, BUT...He needs to hire some younger coaches with a little fire in their bellies. He continues to hire his pals from yesteryear and sadly they don't cut it anymore. Also...let your coaches coach. Maybe Haslam needs to grow a pair and become the boss of the athletic department that we need. Tired of so much complacency.

Well said. Bobby has hired a staff of his boomer buddies and they are not getting it done.
 
Unfortunately for Bobby, he'll realize just as Petrino did at Carroll, while he's watching the next head coach after him win a national title.

I said it earlier in the year and got all kinds of jumped on. The 3-3-5 is a crap defensive scheme to accommodate for undersized athletes. Period. If UM intends to ever compete with MSU again, they are going to have to evolve. I don't see that ever happening with BH. He is too rooted in in style to change. So accept the Griz will always make the playoffs, but will never win another NC unless the defense changes,, UM hires a GOOD DC and starts recruiting players that fit the scheme. Btw, MSU is gonna get rocked by Illinois State. After watching all of their playoff games again this weekend, there is no doubt they are going to beat MSU. That team is good. UM wasn't gonna beat them. That's for certain.
