More or Less Confident?

Are you more or less confident of a GRIZ win Saturday than you were prior to the Brawl?

Pretty sure this is exactly what you and many others were saying before the regular season Brawl.

Serious question though. Have you ever posted without referring to the “Sh__y 😸😸😸 Kitties” or without the inclusion of 100 emojis? How old are you?

Now that we have that out of the way. Please break down the X’s and O’s on why you feel the Cats will get their a$$ kicked at home. Just curious if you can talk football in an intelligent manner because I have yet to see it.

I just think we have the better team talent-wise- we have more All Big Sky and All Americans than MSU does, our O outscored your O in Game # 1, we, Yale and SFA moved the football quite a bit against your D--which I think is good but not great and overrated, we went into Brawl # 1 having played 12 weeks in a row, the only Div. 1 team to not have a regular-season bye and we were kinda beat up, and now we finally did have a bye Week # 1 in the playoffs, and we destroyed two MVFC teams that had both thumped their previous opponents in their first playoff games but the wheels came off for them in WA-GRIZ. And now we have Tolbert and Loud back, which schematically allows Tim and Coop to play.a more aggressive 🤔 D--more man-to-man putting Loud and Lawler on islands, mix in some zone, and yeah, I think Lamson is going to face a lot more pressure in this game. Plus, your team is pretty nicked up: Brott, Crews and 2-3 other MSU players--I forget their names. And while Coach V is a good man and coach, he is not a MSU alum and has trouble managing and disciplining both his coaches and players. Coach Hauck is a UM alum, as are Tim, Brent and Justin, and while Coach doesn't hate and actually likes and respects Coach V and most of your coaches and players, he does hate MSU and your Bobcats while on the football field--he grew up hating the Bobcats as a kid in Big Timber and later as a GA on Papa Bear 🐻 Don Read's staff during the streak !!!

So yeah, I think my GRIZ will kick your Shi__y Kitty's 😺 a$$ for those reasons. !!! And truth in advertising, please tell someone in your AD's office to play the cry or " growl" of a bobcat at your stadium during games instead of using that of a mountain lion. Bobcats are not very intimidating in nature and lions will actually occasionally take one as bobcats in the food chain are way down the chain somewhere between a racoon and a coyote. Maybe MSU should become the mountain lions or cougars?

Sure, but that's talking about capability rather than schematics. I'm not denying the impact of Loud! I'm just having a little fun at the idea of Bobby purposefully playing a vanilla scheme the first time so that you'll win the rematch. All in good fun Mom!
B99: It appears that you have posted on eGriz 149 times since you joined 11/18/25. All in good fun!

Probably true, and nobody believes that if this game were played 100 times that the griz would win the majority. Silly questions deserve silly answers.

Totally disagree, Skookum, we have the better team with more all conference and more All American players, and now that we finally had a bye Week 1 of the playoffs--unlike your team and all other Div. I teams, we had no regular-season bye, we have Loud and Tolbert and perhaps one or two more back for Saturday, I think we're going to kick MSU's a$$ !!! And if we played 100 times, I think we win 55-70 of those games !!!

I do. I think Griz are the better team at this point, with Loud, knowing what mistakes they made in the game, and the confidence of playing so well in last 2 games.
Well I give you credit for putting your money where your mouth is, we have $100 on it. I'm going to tip my hat to either team. If the griz win they will most definitely deserve all the credit you can give them.

What does it do on the front end though?
Depends on philosophy I suppose. If you think the coverage will hold up, you send less blitzers assuming the standard 3-4 rushers you have will get pressure eventually. Or if you want to be more aggressive, it allows you to keep fewer defenders on the back end and send more pressure because you're confident they can man up on 4-5 receivers for a few seconds. I haven't watched you guys play since we played you, so I really have no idea what you've been doing. What would you say the defense has done differently schematically since Loud's return?

More man-to-man, a little less zone

I understand that and agree with you, I'm just telling you what I've been reading from people here.
Because you have no original thoughts and know almost nothing about football.

Good thing the World Cup is forthcoming - you'll be in your prime.

No. Nobody said that leading to the Brawl...

You've missed the point entirely. No, BH does not play a vanilla scheme during the regular season...

But, as we saw year-over-dominating-year in BH 1.0, he knows how to peak a team for the playoffs.

That is what we are seeing. It's what you and your ilk will swallow this weekend.
