Some great matchups coming up this next round. I was calling the Ill St upset. They just played too close during the season for the Bison to beat them twice in a season.
Yale absolutely impressed me this post season. They did outstanding Saturday.
Vidlak gets his opportunity against MSU. It really should be a good game to start. We will see if that potent offense at FSA can keep it good 4 qtrs.
UCD will have their hands full. I feel like Ill ST will be getting a bit tired from these big road games.
Nova looked like a world beater to start the playoffs, the. Looked like the average playoff team we are use to this past decade. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost by 40 this week to Tarleton St.
One of the last MVFC teams comes to Missoula. They have been up and down, but have figured out how to play. Should be another tough bang it out type game. I dont see them being able to keep pace all 4 qtrs with our offense. Their QB is a baller. He will keep it exciting.

3/8 teams still standing are BSC, 3/4 Dakotas are gone and only two MVFC team still playing and people were claiming this was a “down year” for the Big Sky.
That can all flip in a week, so kudos to the conference but let’s work on making 3/4 standing BSC teams.

Last I looked it was 3 out of 5 eliminated.
I missed a word when I was typing, it was supposed to be last standing, as in we need to make sure it’s 3 out of 4 teams in the semis as BSC teams as opposed to it flipping back to 2/4 MVFC teams in the semi. The only way that would happen would be if we lose.
You still should have been able to get the point. Don’t you guys have players, coaches, behaviors and a shitty performance to defend?

Yep National ABC Broadcast. Sandwiched between the only two bowl games that day. Lets hope Griz put on a show and, a great crowd and it is a great showcase for MT. Should give lots of exposure.

Okay so, a whole five of us called the NDSU loss to Illinois State on Saturday, even though I called them Eastern Illinois, it was a long day.I stuck to my ridiculous superstitions and picked the Griz to lose to SDSU. Guess what, they didn't lose SO my superstition proved accurate. Before you troll me on this, read some of my old posts.
Historically going back almost two decades, starting with the Griz/Cat game and into the playoffs, when I pick the Griz to win the Griz lose. When I pick the Griz to lose, the Griz win. It's my superstition but it's only been wrong a couple of times.
Guess where this one is going this week.
#2 Puddy Tats win because #7 Stephen F Austin has never played well in the Winter in Montana.
# 3 Montana ahem... valiant battle, but # 11 South Dakota Yotes slink away with a win.
# 4 Tarleton State will roll Villanova and move on to the quarterfinals.
# 8 UC Davis has Illinois State at home and should beat them handily moving on to the quarterfinals.
