Friggin fun! 10-0. cats inbound to the Mecca. Top seed on the line.

This team - playing to its full potential can / will win the championship.

But, this team also has some issues. There are some structural issues on the backside of the defense. The defense REQUIRES QB pressure and when they don't get home - corners struggle at times. Griz d-line is playing well beyond what I expected.

The offense has to maintain momentum. They cannot leave the defense on the field for extended periods. Gotta run the damn ball!

Guys missing special teams assignments and making ill-timed calls needs to get fixed now.

If the team can play complete complimentary football - get some guys healed - and clean up missed assignments - see you in Nashville.

Good post. I agree. You may be slightly more optimistic than I am. But the potential is there. Need more consistency.

I do think there’s a scenario where what happened on Saturday was a good thing. We’re still undefeated but sometimes it takes a close call against an inferior team for the team to realize we can’t get complacent and to look at the things that went wrong. Let’s this be the wake up call this team needs to hopefully roll the rest of the year.

In frequent years past - Griz have dropped a head-scratcher conference game. This year (knock on oldgriz's head) they have not...

Trajectory to peak is now underway...

Offensively, the Griz have great balance!
Defensively, the Griz have coverage issues but play hard!
Special teams, not Hauck’s best.

Result - 10-0.

It doesn’t matter how you get there. We’re winning!

Did anyone else watch NDSU vs North Dakota last week? Even though both offenses looked subpar, Bizon got the dub.

Every team is beatable this year. So why not us taking it home?!?!?

The Griz are battle tested. The Cats are not. NDSU always is.

Before we crown a champ, let’s watch it all play out. I like our chances.

Great Post bud!!!!

Positive takeaways from this season:
Enormous improvement in QB play, coaching staff seems to have adjusted their philosophy. Ah yat is a revelation. Young talent at skill positions is very promising and exciting. Ability to play well on clutch situations.

Negative takeaways:
Play in the trenches (OL especially) is still shaky. They have some good performances and some bad performances, not just week to week but quarter to quarter. About 7 years of this. Defense is not very consistent. Struggle to hold onto leads.

Neutral/TBD:
How do we measure up against NDSU/MSU. FCS is more and more top heavy, hard to be too confident of any takeaways until the quarterfinals of the playoffs at the least.

hauck brothers will have a totally different looking team coming into the brawl...they
are playing the end game...it will all start with the brawl...hopefully all systems will be
up and running..look for the playbook to come alive!
Are you speculating or do you have inside knowledge on this?

I think this season has been amazing to say the least. Although we had a bunch of transfers come in, these guys seem very close to one another and supportive of one another. They all applaud one another when others do well and don't show any hate or jealousy. I love how they are very unselfish and play for each other. Granted we have our stars on the team, but each week someone new contributes in a big way and steps up.
i honestly feel like this team is built to overcome adversity or anything that's thrown their way. The bigger the game, the better they play. We have a bunch of gamers on this team and I'm just waiting to see them take it to the next level. I truly feel this team can win it all and won't be surprised if they do. Go GRIZ!

Interesting read. Thank you, Cheer Squad, Boosters, and various other 'Sugar Coaters.' But, our Griz have not had a complete game all year long. What makes any of you think they can get their shit together once, just once, players and coaches, and that once being Nov. 22? I mean solid, verifiable signs that this will happen, such as how our Offense stacks up to their Defense, our Defense v their Offense, 'Special' Teams performance, injuries(us v them), venue, and of course, the 'other' factors. AKA Objective Criteria.

I was impressed Bobby actually alluded to this himself in the press conference this week. He said maybe he needs to look at how he is doing some things intrinsically when they get up a few scores and it starts with him. Maybe a bit of a wake up call even for Bobby.

I hardly ever watch the post-game interviews, but this last one was an exception. When asked about the onsides kick foul-up, he said something like 'missed assignment'.................then asked the questioner, 'You got any suggestions for that,....huh?' I laughed so hard I almost messed myself!(y)
