Playoff Committee Poll

That is a legit question, why is msu ahead? I don't have a good answer. Presumably it is a strength of schedule argument. The bobcats are being rewarded for losing by 46 points to Oregon. They gain more love because they lost again to one of the only two ranked FCS teams they have played. So, losing to two of their three ranked opponents is their SOS badge of honor. Appears that is why their 7-2 squad is ahead of our 9-0 team. That is not a good answer, but apparently it is the answer.

Thankfully the sequence of where they placed our teams today really is inconsequential. If our Griz win out they will settle the matter for the committee. The cat/Griz game winner will be a top two seed. Period. If the loser doesn't get blown out, they may possibly still be among the top four seeds. Thus, being the #2 and #3 seeds today is important, which team is where is not important.

The real mystery is why the committee was so generous to So. Dakota State. After two consecutive awful games it's hard to understand how they're #6. Yes, the QB is injured. Perhaps he will return, perhaps not. None the less, their results on the field should have dropped them off the top ten list.

They will rightfully climb back up the list if they win their final three games. Though at present you have a team in the midst of a two game losing streak which included getting absolutely pounded, then losing badly to a team everyone else has pounded. The committee is certainly biased on this one.
Update

Ya just happens sometimes. It's not like we were throwing the ball all over. I remember when the griz were beating indiana state 42-7 in the 3rd quarter before your starting qb completed a 60 yard touchdown pass to get a comfortable 49-7 lead! It's not like every team just puts in backups when they're up 30. :ROFLMAO:
Hey, pal! We NEED that cushion sometimes.

And still haven't beaten anyone.

Look, clearly the bubs are playing well. As well as anyone in the country even. But that schedule....

Until they beat a team better than... what, 5-4 nau??, we still don't know anything about them.

Yeah, beating shit teams like eastern Washington and Idaho State mean nothing….

Then again they played the Griz very competitively. I guess you have to concede that these teams are decent or your team really isn’t….

Yes, and the Cats played the number 2 team at the time, SDSU even and lost in two overtime’s. The Cats have improved immensely since then. Yes, the conference teams they beat, they pretty much dominated.

And 2 losses away from being the Cats.
The Cats have indeed lost two games. If they still have two losses going into the Brawl and lose to the Griz, which I expect they will, your team will be seeded appropriately, as were the Cats last year. If the Griz are as good as you all say they are, they may actually score a touchdown in the championship game for the first time since the Bobby 1.0 era. God bless.

Could you put this through an English translation tool? Thanks.
