Beaner is going to be really good and this type of experience will be great for his development. Gotta take your lumps. Kid never gave up and kept fighting. His future is very bright.

That beaner is playing right now bodes well for his future. He’s young and will only improve. He’s gonna make mistakes this early in his career, but his ceiling is high as all get out. Could be the next Griz great.

To be fair, Loud's not out there on kick coverage. Beaner also got schooled on a TD run where he overpursued to the outside. He did a lot of good things that didn't show up on the TV coverage, though, which is why he's out there over Ford at the moment.

He actually reminds me a lot of Loud last year: has some bad freshman mistakes, but is playing better than some veterans. He's going to be a top defender on this team for a while.

The fact that he’s playing as a true freshman speaks volumes. Maybe wouldnt get the chance without injuries. He’s done pretty good all things considered. Had some bad plays last night. Had a few good ones. Future is bright for the Beaner twins.

He’s getting a college degree. I’m hoping he gets a PhD in cornerback-ology.

People should cut the kid some slack. He is a freshman having to fill in due to injuries. He is gonna get schooled and make mistakes. Fortunately due to the schedule, the Griz have that luxury. Give the kid some time and he will be great.

It's embarrassing and demonstrates how entitled some eGriz posters are. I wonder how they would feel if we called them out publicly on their performance miscues at work, home, and school.

Beaner looks very good to me, especially for not having played and apparently never having played corner. Of course, what do I know. I only played corner for 4 years in college and follow secondary play fairly closely. I'm sure you are way more qualified to comment. Ha.

Sometimes he was in the slot at nickel in HS, but very rarely was he ever outside. Anacortes liked to put big guys on the outside. The position he played more closely aligned with the role Diezel is currently filling.
