New Game week hype video

6 out of 10. Nicely done and edited but feels lazy compared to prior years
Should add context - I think the video is fine it’s just prior ones (to me) seemed more creative and involved more of a theme around the season or whatnot. They usually always featured all seniors too, this one might have but it was moving pretty quickly at times.
If this just a week 1 hype video then it’s cool. If it’s more of the season ramp up one it just didn’t speak much to me.

Agree. Could have been a little more creative with the music choice too.
Underwhelming. Cool idea, but the weird heavy lines on the backgrounds don't flow well at all.

I’m not sure anything will top the one that showed the whole town getting behind the team. My favorite part for some reason was the guy working the parking garage booth listening on the radio.
Yeah, I don't like it at all. Honestly a 13 year old could of made a better video. Also some of the practice videos were horrible too... like someone needs to resign.

Yeaaahhhhh this ain't it. The players fading in with scenes of the state was cool but the music choice doesn't match at all for that. Plus the clips they chose for the middle portion seems completely random. Pretty meh for a film and arts school.
The music they used on Twitter was much better. Why they used Jungle on Insta and Facebook is beyond me, but here’s the Twitter one with a much better soundtrack.
I totally disagree. Classic rock is almost always better than modern generic techno.

Austin and his crew are phenomenal. This may not be your favorite video but the attention to detail and time this takes is under appreciated. Great job and look forward to more good work from this crew

I really liked this hype video. Fantastic job by the Montana media department. And using "Welcome to the Jungle" was the perfect song to play.
I wish that UM would play "Welcome to the Jungle" right after the team runs out leading up to kickoff.

I think we got spoiled with a golden age of Griz hype videos and post game videos, peaking in 2023. This feels flat and soulless to me, but I know that a lot of work goes into it. Just feels like we hit a real sweet spot for a while there and I, personally, thought we were producing some of the best game videos in the country.
I thought the one that was produced right before the national championship game was exceptional.
