I don't care about uniforms either.

I LOVE this!! Whomever came up with this idea: pure genius!!I heard they were kicking around the idea of having the marching band spell out the Griz script and having one lucky individual “dot” the “i”. I think it sounds like it could be a cool Montana tradition.
You mean ripping off Ohio State?I LOVE this!! Whomever came up with this idea: pure genius!!
Sounds great. We could do the very same thing, except spell out ohio.I heard they were kicking around the idea of having the marching band spell out the Griz script and having one lucky individual “dot” the “i”. I think it sounds like it could be a cool Montana tradition.
I agree also. Don't copy someone else. Come up with a unique entrance/pregame that gets the fans hyped, players jacked and contributes to the home game-day experience. It's good now, but the Mecca of FCS football could do better, IMO! Can't wait until kickoff!!!Couldn’t agree more!
Go Griz — Fight On!
I think they should spell out Montana and dot the i. That would bee better.I LOVE this!! Whomever came up with this idea: pure genius!!
No Cap, bruhMy only concern is that they overcorrect and we end up with GenZ Monte doing a TikTok dance while prompting each end of the stadium to yell "SKIBIDI!" "RIZZ!", then launching Labubus out of a cannon into the crowd while an incomprehensible sigilkore song blares from the speakers.
If you didn't understand a lot of those words, consider yourself blessed. In some ways I do kinda appreciate how the game day experience is a time capsule of the 00s.
No love for “Rise”??Any list without “Casino Royale” by my man Herb Alpert and the TJ Brass should be immediately discredited and ultimately ridiculed. And, yes, I mean any list.
Copying another school?! We would never! You mean ripping off Ohio State?![]()
Hell, the neighbors haven't come up with a unique idea this century. If it weren't for the rodeo team entry, it'd basically be wa griz east!Copying another school?! We would never!
Anyway, Fight On!
Very true. I do like their totally unique and long-standing number 45 tradition, however. Don’t know where they pulled that one.Hell, the neighbors haven't come up with a unique idea this century. If it weren't for the rodeo team entry, it'd basically be wa griz east!
That first one still gives me goosebumps. And I'm GenX, not a Boomer but rap sucks. The problem to me seems to be that they don't really understand how to use what they have to really hype the crowd up. Seems to me the last couple of seasons they're just going through the motions. Like they have a checklist of items they just need to tick off before the game starts. Back in the day Monte's entrance on the Harley was iconic. He sits in the tunnel and revs it up for a while until he bursts out onto the field. They play the Hype video right before the players come out. The hype video builds in intensity and then cuts out with a brief moment of tension before we hear WOOOOO BRING UM OUT BRING UM OUT and they run out all hyped up with the smoke and the fireworks and everybody goes nuts. The whole show is designed to work together to build up the crowd
Now it's just like. Here comes monte driving the 2025 Toyota 4 runner powered by Lithia! He gets out and points in 4 directions while kid rock plays. Now we move to the first interstate coin toss. The "hype video" is some incomprehensible rap music focusing on the players instead of Griz Nation. Bring um out bring um out plays for 3 seconds until the band starts playing the fight song because i'm sure they complained about it. Then nothing happens for 5 minutes because there's a TV time out so everyone sits back down. It's just not the same as it used to be. I know a lot of it is because of the broadcast but still.
I mean just compare these two hype videos
Lore Accurate.I loved the DJ in the 4th quarter of Cat Griz game two years ago when Griz were up big and he played "Mony Mony." His finest moment.
This would be better than what we’ve done latelyI think this would be a good song to play, at least before they run out of the tunnel. Up until the 1:00 minute mark. I don't know, I could totally see the fans chanting to this song getting all pumped up.
